I am a food-addict based in Berlin. If I don't eat or cook, I love to listen to audio books while travelling culinary spots of the world.

This was my first time in Berlin and I travelled by myself. Paul's apartment was perfect for me, really comfortable and the area is lovely. I met Paul at the end of my stay; he is very helpful and easy going, and had some great contacts for future visits, including contacts in Rome, my next airbnb adventure. Getting around was easy; I hired a bike, went to the markets and was able to get a good sense of the city in this way. Next time I would try and cook more at "home" but found myself wrapped up in the city. I had such a great trip and would definitely recommend getting in touch with Paul for yours....
Paul was a wonderful host, my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Berlin. We were lucky our plans changed and we were able to meet Paul to exchange keys and he was very sweet and generous to buy us some dinner and a couple beers ( which was definitely needed after a 5 hour train ride! )
Paul was great and fast at getting in contact, and provided some really useful information, for places to go eat and drink, and getting around Berlin.
The flat was incredible, also in a great location. Even though the photos looked very good it was even better in real life. Would happily recommend Paul as a host to anyone.
Paul is a great guest. Good conversationalist and very knowledgeable about food, especially local specialities.
If you need a truly nice, relxaing stay in Berlin in a beautiful apartment, Paul's is the one. If you are lucky and he is present, you may benefit from his awesome cooking skills.
The apartment is located in a quiet side street with a nice balcony, off the rumble of this crazy city but still very close to Kreuzberg and inside Schöneberg, a very active part of town.
I'd say: 5Stars
Paul, whom I've known for well over a year now, is a wonderful host with a fantastic apartment at a central location, where I've stayed myself already. Since he usually rents out his entire apartment you probably won't get to enjoy his marvelous cooking, but do ask him about restaurants and absolutely do trust his recommendations - this man KNOWS his food!
The reason I happily recommend Paul to other AirBnB members: He's 100% reliable, a generally wonderful person and his apartment is a great and cozy place. With the inevitably well-equipped kitchen. And did I mention that he gives THE best restaurant tips?
