From Fort Collins, CO. I like anything cultural, making art, listening to music, traveling, visiting museums, microbrews - the works. I love meeting new people and sharing stories, airbnb is awesome!

Wow! We could not have asked for a better experience with our AirBnB and especially our wonderful host, Stan. He greeted us at the front door when we got there, showed us the space, and really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and well-acquainted -- maps of the town, recommendations on restaurants and cultural events, Wifi password, blew up the tires on his bikes that he let us borrow, even offered us rides if we wanted them. The space was perfect, great hot tub - all in all, a real treat. One would be lucky to meet Stan and stay at his space in Fort Collins. Thanks, Stan!
Thank you so much Travis! It was lovely to host you! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in Fort Collins :)
What a special place this is!! We found this creative studio to be the perfect escape from Denver. Stanley was the best host and we'd love to return to stay again
Stan's space is exactly what you're looking for if you need somewhere to get away from your routine and be inspired. High ceilings, plenty of light, and touches of his artistry everywhere. My husband and I spent a lot of time reading in the little loft; it felt like a treehouse. Stan keeps it clean and welcoming with a small kitchen stocked with the basics (and tea and hot chocolate!), a fully stocked bathroom, and he even shared some pumpkin pie he was baking with us. Stan is kind and thoughtful, you may get the sense that he's a good old college buddy from your past that is letting you crash at his place awhile. He was also super chill about our goofy dog.
One thing to keep in mind: we happened to arrive during a freak temperature drop in November and I wished I would have brought a robe and a pair of slippers.
Super great accommodations for any traveler but artists/writers especially will appreciate this space!
Great visit at Stanley's art studio! We enjoyed all the art and being within a studio atmosphere. The whole place was cleverly fitted out for living space. Stanley was a great host, making a space adjustment for us, and having our favorite teas on hand. Bikes, and hot tub were appreciated. We will definitely go back!
My boyfriend and I stayed in Stanley's unique art studio/apartment for 22 days! Stanley was an INCREDIBLE host- offering us veggies from his garden, eggs from his chickens, and always quick to give good advice for places to go and things to do in Ft. Collins. His studio is behind the main house with a private entrance. It is a working space that allows you to see many of his pieces (he's an excellent artist, by-the-way). The studio has it's own small kitchenette (cupboards with dishes, sink, mini fridge, and two stoves), and it's own bathroom (heated floor for cool mornings!). The downstairs is spacious with lots of natural light and a large communal space that we turned into our living room/dining area after he let us borrow a table and two chairs. The loft offers a cozy sleeping nook with lots of storage space for clothes. The stairs to the loft are steep, so they could be tricky for anyone with hip or knee problems or a fear of heights. Otherwise, this space worked out beautifully for our three weeks in town. I would recommend this space for anyone looking for a fun, quirky, private studio near CSU campus (about 1.5 miles). Thank you, Stan!
A cute little art studio with a 'bijou' sleeping area nestled up top. I loved the place, frankly - it's private, spacious, unusual and well located for cycling off into the hills or wandering into town. I'd definitely stay here again. Thanks Stanley!
Stanley welcomed us personally by showing us the space. He always made sure we knew that he was willing to help us out if we had questions or needed anything. We felt at home right away! I have a great love for music, so naturally I appreciated the quality stereo that the Creative Space came equipped with. The neighborhood was great-quiet, with plenty of green space. Parking was never difficult and there are great restaurants, bars and grocery stores within biking distance. Stanley even let us borrow bikes! I would stay there again and recommend the space to anyone.
Stanley was a wonderful host who went above and beyond what I expected. The space worked perfectly for us.
Stan was a wonderful guest! They stayed for a long week and were clean and considerate (as well as great for conversation).
Highly recommended and would certainly have them stay again.
Stanley was a great guest! He was only at my place for a short stay, and I wasn't even home, but he made my job as a host super easy--we had clear communication, and he nearly came and went in the night, leaving the apartment as he found it! I'd gladly welcome him again!
Stanley was an awesome guest! He was super considerate, clean, and incredibly nice making for great company. It was also neat hearing an artist's perspective from him on DC's museum scene. Hosting him was a pleasure, and I strongly recommend you allow yourself the same opportunity.
Stan was a great guest. Although we hardly saw eachother, he was considerate, clean, and pretty much the ideal housemate. He also gave me a beautiful print that he made himself before he left, (it's now hanging in my room). We would gladly put up Stan anytime.
