We live in Brasilia the capital city of Brazil. We work for the Brazilian government. We love to travel and meet people.
Marcia was an amazing host. She was really nice to take pick us at the airport and then dropping us close to stadium because we didn’t have much time to get to the match on time. Her apartment is extremely clean and organized what makes it really nice and comfortable. She was really helpful showing us the best way to move around the city and telling us what places to visit. Marcia actually explained us a lot of interesting things about Brasilia that helps us understand the city organization and architecture. She was a very caring and kind host. We would definitely stay there again.
We spent only a night in the room. It's pretty small for two but clean an Marcia was a really good host.
We were travelling in a group of 5 for a two night stay in Marcia's apartment. The place was extremely clean and spacious. Even though there were 5 of us split between two rooms, we had plenty of space. Marcia was a fantastic host who went over and above to make sure we were well looked after during our stay. She was great with giving information about Brasilia and what to see and do in the city, and even picked us up from the airport. The area is very safe and we found it easy to travel to monuments and shopping, which is only a short distance away. This was my first experience with airbnb and I hope all other hosts will be like Marcia!
Conhece bem Brasília e ajudou-me bastante no período que estive lá.
I stayed with Marcia for 9 days and it was one of the nicest and cleanest experiences I've had on airbnb. She was very accomodating and helped me even beyond housing items. I would recommend this host and location to anyone traveling with the need to be close to airbnb. Even if you have to travel far, it's worth it for the comfort and cleanliness.
It s been a great pleasure to stay here
Garcia is an amazing woman. It was so nice to talk to her.
House is more clean and comfortable than a hotel. Garcia and Marcos are real professionals. They even had put soaps with their names tagged.
House was so clean and safe.
This is a very nice place to stay
Marcia was an excellent host! Always very friendly and helpful and it was really nice to talk with each other (in English). The airport transfer was a very good help, the apartment cosy, tidy and well located. We can highly recommend her as a host!
Márcia é uma pessoa super simpática e prestativa! Muito acolhedora!
When I arrived at the Brasilia airport, I was greeted by Márcia, and her welcoming smile. One of the perks of staying with Márcia and Carlos is free transportation to and from the airport.
When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and clean it was. Márcia is a meticulous housekeeper and the entire place looked as if it were ready for an Architectural Digest photo shoot! The hardwood floors are highly polished, the furniture is lovely, and everything is squeaky clean.
My room was very nice. There was a large flat-screen TV, a chair and ottoman, and a twin bed.
In the kitchen, they keep a second refrigerator just for guests and there is a laundry room where you can wash clothes if needed.
The bathroom is very shiny and modern. An example of how considerate they are is the fact that they provide free toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner, if you need them.
Márcia is into healthy eating and she provided some luscious, exotic fruit which I thoroughly relished. I also enjoyed discussions we shared about nutrition, Brasilia, world travel, and family. It was like staying with an old friend instead of a stranger!
The weather was great during my stay and there are several shops, restaurants, and a grocery store within easy walking distance.
About an hour's walk away is a modern-style shopping mall (Conjunto Nacional Mall) similar to what you might find in the U.S.A. I was able to get some photos printed from my phone at the Fujioka store.
When I arrived from Rio, my phone (with a Brazilian SIM card) that had worked fine in Rio, would not work. Carlos spent about an hour talking with the service provider figuring out how to tweak the settings so it would work again. (FYI – Each state in Brazil seems to have proprietary cell phone systems. Even though the company is the same, if you travel to a different state, you may have to pay additional fees and change your phone settings to get it to work.)
I wanted to get some University of Brasilia t-shirts for friends back home but unfortunately ran out time. Márcia graciously offered to pick them up later (with money I provided) and ship them to the U.S.A. for me!
These are yet two more examples of how friendly, gracious, and hospitable Márcia and Carlos are with their guests. If you need a place to stay in Brasilia, I highly recommend their lovely home!
Fue un placer tener a Marcia y Carlos, ellos son los clientes perfectos. Muy respetuosos, comunicativos y divertidos :) . Espero poder visitarlos algun dia en Brasilia .
