I stayed here with my wife for 17 days in February. The apartment was clean and
Comfortable. The location was further from the beach but ideal if you're on foot or bicycle and want access to grocery stores/ala moana. Closest point to the beach is near fort derussey. 15minute walk. View was great, just like the pictures.
Mike and Nicky are sweet and helpful. Overall a good stay and I would book with them again:)
We enjoyed our stay at the Fairway Villa very much. The condo was clean, conveniently located with amenties that made our time there a pleasure.
We appreciated and used the kitchen to enjoy several meals cooked at "home" instead of eating out every day. Having laundry facilities in the unit was a definite plus. The views from the balcony facing the east was panoramic.
Shops, restaurants and a market was just a block away. We walked to the beach in 15 minutes with a beach chair and umbrella we used from the condo.
Mike provided precise information on access to the property and we had no problems accessing the unit.
We join the numerous folks who left complimentary comments in their guest book.
Mahalo Mike and Nicky for helping make our visit enjoyable. We hope the unit will be available the next time we go to O'ahu.
My friend and I we're guests at 1704 Century Center for 10 nights. Upon our arrival, the condo was just as it was in the pictures. No surprises. The space had pretty much everything we needed so we were happy. It's in a great location and we also got the parking pass which I would definitely recommend along with a rental car of course. My friend slept on the single bed and I slept on the fold out futon bed which was either full or queen size I'm not exactly sure but either way we had no complaints. Everything in the bathroom and kitchen functioned properly. We did not have any problems with the place at all. The AC works really well and cools the space in minutes which was nice. There is no TV or WiFi which some people may not like but if you're going to Hawaii you shouldn't be inside watching TV and playing on your computer. It's paradise and there are a million of things to do. If anything I preferred not having it available because it made sure that we didn't waste time in the room. There was no blow dryer but luckily I brought my own and there was no iron so we bought one for $8 at Walmart when we went food shopping which was no big deal. There were hand towels, towels for the shower, and beach towels available. There was also plenty of space to put your clothes away in the dresser and closet. The bathroom has a cabinet to put away your toiletries which was nice too. Toilet paper, paper towels, plates, cups, microwave, toaster, teapot, dish soap and utensils were also provided. There was even some frozen chicken and mixed vegetables in the freezer which was great. Mike is a really nice guy and easy to communicate with. He checked on us to make sure everything was ok and responded quickly when we needed to get in touch with him. All in all I would definitely recommend this place. It's in a great location, has all the essentials, and was listed at a great price.
I can only write positive things about this apartment and Mike, as a host.
Great location - close to Waikiki, Downtown, Ala Moana shopping centre and beaches.
Very helpful host - Mike did everything, what I asked him for.
The place was clean and well prepared for us, with new towels (both shower and beach), shampoo and ect. including some food in a fridge.
Mike is a great host and I can fully recommend him.
I will definitely contact him in future, when I will be back in Hawai'i and looking for a place to stay.
We stayed for 2 weeks, enjoyed the place very much, everything you need is there, Mike is very helpful, everything important in Waikiki is in walking distance. We loved the balcony and we were sad we had to leave for the rest of our stay because of another booking Mike had excepted before us.

It was so good. It wad so close to close to go to waikiki beach. I also enjoyed hawaii night life. I had a wonderful time. It was perfect visit. Thank you for everything.
We would definitely recommend staying at Mike and Nicky's place!
It is in walking distance from Waikiki beach, shopping opportunities and supermarkets on Kuhio Avenue.
The kitchen is well equipped even though we often went to one of the many breakfast places nearby. The appartment was very clean.
Great location in the middle of Waikiki hence do expect some noise but with the windows closed and A/C on you can block it out.
The building has a fantastic roof top with pool and a hot tub– and marvellous views onto the city and Diamond Head.
Correspondence with the host went really well, unfortunately we were too busy for a meeting that Mike was so kind to suggest.
Thank you Mike and Nicky!
My wife and I are first time Airbnb users and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Mike and Nicky’s mountain retreat was just as described with the exception of the TV in the picture; it is now updated to newer flat screen TV. Staying on the 36th floor has advantages, great views and nice breeze when trade winds are blowing. Having onsite parking was huge plus for wife and I. We traveled all over island and it was always nice to come home and know we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking space.
Do not miss out on the 6th floor activities! Nice Pool, 2 Jacuzzi, Cookout area that was always in use by someone, Kid friendly play area. DO NOT MISS Thai food/snack shop also located on the 6th floor that has outstanding food! Chef Alex and wife Mali (pronounced my-lee) are great people and really, really good cooks! If they have it, coconut butter fish was crazy good!
Overall a GREAT vacation and a GREAT find in Mike and Nicky's Mountain Retreat!
We stayed at Shangri La for a week while visiting Waikiki, it was so convenient to get around, we bought food from Food Pantry across the street and cooked in the Villa few times. It's also got spices and all kinds incredient, cooking ware and it's got the whole nine yard...If your tired of cooking Kuhio is right around the corner where all the fast food and fine dinning, Beach is just 6-8 mins away really close by, guess there is nothing to complain. Thanks to Mike and Nicky for keeping us companied and Mike has being very helpful when we needed help. We will definately come back again or refer to other friends to stay at this lovely suite which is perfect for two. MAHALO
