Nice room. Cheryl is very considerate and pleasant. Sorry the visit was shorter than planned.
The place is clean and quiet, as shown in the picture. And Cheryl is a very nice host. Though it is a little far from the downtown, but the traffic is generally convenient. I would recommend this place to my friend when they visit Boston.
We had a great time at Cheryl's place. The night we arrived she invited us into her awesome backyard and gave us plenty of trip advises for Boston (which pretty much saved us from entering the city completely unprepared). During our three day stay we enjoyed living around her and her two kind pets. Everything was just as described, our room was really pretty and clean and there were no problems sharing both the bathroom and kitchen with Cheryl.
It takes about half an hour to get to downtown Boston, and there's a variety of buses that will take you to one of the red line metro ("T") stations. From personal experience I'd recommend taking the Hahvahd Tour around the Harvard Campus (student-guided, 10$) as well as walking along the Freedom Trail to get to see the most important sights of Boston. Also, visit the online 'Boston Calendar' for current events (especially on weekends!).
Boston is a great city to visit, and if you do, make sure to stay at Cheryl's home!
Cheryl was a great host and we had a great stay at her home. That we arrived very late and had to leave very early in the morning was no problem for her. The room is nice and big, her cat and dog are very friendly.
The reservation was canceled 35 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Cheryl was a lovely, thoughtful host. The space and location were perfect for my needs. Cheryl is located very close to The Arlington Center, where I was taking a yoga workshop; the booking, in all aspects, worked out perfectly! The room was spacious and cozy, as described, and there were many great places to eat and snack close by.
I had a really great time live there, the bed is comfortable, and the cat and dog are cute. Chery is a nice woman, if you live with her you will have a great time!
Cheryl accommodated me just two days before my visit, which was awesome! The room is exactly as pictured, and it was wonderful to come home to instead of staying in a hotel. Her dog and cat were sweet and friendly. Cheryl even recommended a local cab company for my ride to the airport. This was my first AirBnB stay, and I will definitely use it again! I would also stay with Cheryl again!
Cheryl's house is also within walking distance of CVS, Starbucks, and several great local restaurants off of Mass Ave. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. It is also right near the 77 bus stop which takes you back to Porter Square.
Cheryl's place was fantastic! My husband and I spent almost a week with Cheryl, who graciously welcomed us last minute. The room was clean and inviting, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed being a 10-min walk from several bus lines and Arlington Center, and a quick jaunt into Boston. We also enjoyed having a dog and cat for the week! Thanks, Cheryl, for a fantastic stay.
Cheryl was a generous and gracious hostess! Lovina and Gracey too were a delightful presence. The house was clean and comfortable. It's location is conveniently accessed by various buses. Be sure to have a stay if you can.
