This apartment is in one of Paris's most picturesque neighborhoods next to a wonderful farmer's market. There are views of the Eiffel Tower from most surrounding streets, and the vibe is quiet and relaxed.
The apartment itself is small, but clean with a great kitchen and nice balcony overlooking a courtyard. Recommended.
I had a very nice stay at Joao's apartment. It's a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower (I even ran a 10 mile race from the Eiffel Tower to Versailles) and Paris itself is very easy to navigate. I used the train TWICE otherwise I walked. Granted, I probably walked quite a bit, but the weather was so beautiful so it was perfect for me. There is a market right down the street (half block) that was there twice for during the week in stayed. I bought some amazing fresh foods and had no problem cooking at Joao's place. Also, the Brasserie down the street is very sweet and there is free wifi. Joao should have wifi in his place, but it was down when I was there. Quite honestly, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars. As a single woman, I felt VERY safe and walked around at night. Beware of the bathtub, it takes a bit to fill and there is no shower. Also, at first, I thought the dishes were dirty in the kitchen...I'm kind of a clean freak. But, turns out, Paris just has hard water. All and all, by day three, I felt like I was a real Parisian.
Hosting Joao Paulo in our apartment here in Paris was a real pleasure. Everything was perfect throughout the whole process. He will always be most welcome again! Thanks for your trust when booking with me and also thanks for leaving the place in such perfect condition!! See you hopefully again next time you´re coming to the city of lights. Merci! Justin
