We are a family of four: my husband, myself, and our two kids, ages 5 and 3. As a native-born Californian, my style is relaxed and informal. I am a writer and an editor, and I have trained as a dancer. I have a Master's in Culture and Performance. My husband is a librarian and an archivist with Pepperdine University. He is also trained as an ethnomusicologist (i.e., the study of music and culture). I have lived in Senegal, in West Africa (and so speak French and Wolof), and we lived in Fiji in the South Pacific for my husband's research. We love to swap travel stories!
