Sandrine's apartment had many good features - ground floor was a big plus as was the small but well equipped and functional kitchen. The sofa bed was comfortable even though it was squeaky. The upstairs bed was more than adequate for our adult daughter. Overall it was a great choice for us.
We had a good time in Paris and enjoyed the appartment. Good situated and easy to reach from about everywhere. The appartment is small but big enough for a weekend. I didn't read the comments very well and my boyfriend ended up having to bend his head forward to be able to shower. The bathroom ceiling is very low. But not a problem if you are under 180cm. We slept on the couch which is comfortable but squeeky when you move... All in all a good decision
What a lovely apartment! So conveniently located to the metro (20 metres away), the best bakery (15 metres away), the best little restaurant (2 minute walk away) - just perfect. Sandrine kept in contact with us via email which suited us perfectly. Space in Paris is precious, so to find a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, in fact everything we may need so well contained in the apartment, we were pleasantly surprised. To fit everything in the space was a real feat. Although a manual would have been handy, we worked out all the electrical devices including the air conditioner/heater/mirror (how ingenious!) without any hiccups!
We so enjoyed our stay in this ground floor (no stairs to have to drag the suitcases up), courtyard enclosed, very quiet apartment and will definitely seek it out when we return to Paris for an extended stay. Note: suited to a couple or a couple with one child (the sofa folds out, there is a beam over the bathroom door which is fine for people under 5'11'' and the upstairs is area is suited to people under 4'10'' - we used this for our luggage.)
Sandrine's apartment in Le Marais is a great location and size for 2 people visiting Paris. Some minor issues as mentioned by previous reviews but otherwise a good stay for a few days
The studio is well located in the heart of Marais, with the metro 2 mins away and a lovely bakery on the corner of the street. The courtyard is peaceful, the apartment is clean and according to description online, well equipped with everything you might need.
Sandrine was a very nice guest, always easy to reach and helpful.
TYPE OF TRAVEL:
Me and my girlfriend on a four-day visit to Paris.
GETTING IN AND OUT:
Taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport cost us about €45. Very convenient, but I think more affordable options like train/bus could work nicely as well due to nearby stops for public transportation. We never met Sandrine, but description on how to access the appartment (given in advance) was good and we easily found the key. Also ”checking out” went smooth.
Clean and according to description online, sheets and towels ready for us on the table. Really cool place that was neatly decorated to make the most out of small space. Only two slightly negative remarks: The pullout couch was a bit squeaky, and for people taller than 185 cm, you will be unable to stand up straight in the bathroom. Just staying for three nights, it was more charming than annoying.
Perfect! Marais is a very cool area in it self, and much of the city center is within walking distance. For everything else, a metro station is situated just 3 min from the apartment.
This was the first time using Airbnb, and the experience was really good. Would definitely recommend Sandrine’s apartment for short stays like ours.
The apartment is in a fabulous district for foodies and shopping. The Metro is a 2 minute walk, and many areas walkable. We walked from L'Arc de Triomphe back to the apartment via Note Dame. I suggest 1 day just walking Le Marais, if not more. The local food market is a must. We did a walking tour of the area the day we arrived and that was perfect.
The apartment is small but serviceable.I would not have more than a couple staying. The bedroom is tiny with only a single futon mattress on the floor, making the fold out couch the option. As we were two single people, this was not an option.
The door lock is a major issue !! At no stage was I able to lock the door, however my friend had the ability. You have to lift the handle up,then down and lock. The apartment is in a locked courtyard, however on arrival it took us an hour to figure it out and was very stressful. Sandrine was not contactable on her phone.
After these initial hiccups,we greatly enjoyed our stay.Position +++,very quiet.
Super appartement situe dans un quartier sympa, non loin du métro ,des cafés et restaurants. Facile d’accès excellent rapport qualité prix.
Was not a good choice even it was quite close to the center of Marais area: smell some, small bed-single only with mattress, difficult to unlock door, low ceiling, cold floor in May
Considering its price, it is not that bad just for staying a night. but also not that good choice either, moreover, if you are planning to stay here more than a night, it can be a bad decision.
nous avons passé une superbe soirée en amoureux dans ce joli loft agréablement agencé et décoré dans un des plus beau quartier de Paris.
communication sans problème avec notre hôte.
