Actually, Kim paid $90 for two nights, plus whatever air b n b charges - I do not think it's $25 though. Kim and her friend seemed inebriated when I met them that night, as evidenced by her saying the "back of the house" and "driveway in front of the bus" when they pulled past the front of the house, over the cobblestones and into the yard! I did politely ask her to move, though I do not think that is an "intrusion." Another reason they were asked to move is that I needed to park in the actual driveway and would have blocked them in. As Kim indicates above, they viewed the property in the daylight and could have said that they were not going to stay at that time (and would have been given close to a full refund), but they did not tell me they had left until the next evening. The boards in the ceiling are not "coming down," and yes, it is a 63 year old BUS and is a bit musty, though I wouldn't say it's a strong "mold odor."
I am tempted to paste mine and Kim's conversation that shows her erratic headspace/behaviors and responses but won't. I also did not leave a bad review for her, though was sorely tempted. From what I can tell, Kim was looking for adventure but her friend was having none of it, and eventually the friend has talked her into behaving this way. Given that it takes quite a bit of time to launder two sets of sheets, make up two beds, sweep, mop, dust, etc, and they claimed a weekend without a reservation, informing me much too late for me to rent it again, I offered half their money back. The listing also spells out exactly what you are renting, if one reads it. Kim indicated that I had explained everything perfectly and she did not want a refund at one point early on when I had offered a partial one, then later came back to say she wanted one and anything I could do would be fine. I offered half due to reasons stated above. Then she came back again and said no, she wanted all her money back so I involved Air BnB. They supported my decision and refunded her $45.
