My husband and I have lived in San Antonio since 2005. We met in New Orleans and lost our first home in the Ninth Ward to Hurricane Katrina. This moved us back to Texas (which is where I grew up). We love old homes and are particularly fond of Craftsmans. This one has great bones and we have enjoyed renovating it. We are certain you'll enjoy your stay in the guesthouse or Airstream, and welcome the prospect of meeting new and interesting people. We are avid travelers ourselves, but since the arrival of our daughter in 2011, our wanderings have grown more modest. Most often we find ourselves pushing our daughter in the swing in our backyard, walking for a dip in the nearby pool, or a taking a trip to a grandparent's house. When our daughter's a bit older, we look forward to sharing some big adventures with her. In the meantime, meeting lovely people from around the world through airbnb has been a wonderful way to make our home a bit more experiential - for all of us.
Zach is in the recycling business. He started his own company named Ascent Recycling in 2012. His hobbies include beer making, home renovation, cooking, and playing with his daughter. I was an elementary teacher for 10 years, but I currently stay home with our daughter Willa. My hobbies include writing, photography, crafting, and thrift shopping. We both love camping and travel. When our daughter hits adolescence, we plan to downsize and spend a few years traveling the globe with her. Maybe we will cross paths again in your neck of the woods.
