Victoria was a wonderful host and was very responsive (within a few hours max) to any queries I had. She was also very accommodating to my late checkin time (my plane was delayed and I didn't arrive in HK until midnight).
As to the apartment - it is even more spacious than shown in the photos! Definitely a big apartment for HK standards, with a large bedroom, separate living room and an open kitchen.
The apartment was clean and was well-equipped with a heater, fresh towels, shampoo / conditioner, kettle and cutlery.
It is also conveniently located in Sheung Wan, within walking distance to the MTR as well as many popular restaurants. At the same time, it is also very quiet at night (and I'm a very light sleeper).
I highly recommend Victoria's apartment to anyone visiting in HK.
Nice, bright and spacious apartment! Very cosy and makes me look forward to coming home after a whole day out.
As it is located up in the hills, expect a bit of walking of slopes and stairs from the station. My local friend told me that apartments in this area cost up to 7 million HKD.
A very trendy area, many little cafes and restaurants down the street.
Just a note, there is no full length mirror in the house. The only mirror is in the bathroom.
Victoria's place is the best you can find in Hong Kong! It has the perfect location, right next to SoHo, walking distance to Wellington St and Central, and is surrounded by all the coolest boutique shops. The room itself is such a gem! I have been to HK many times and airbnbed before but it's the first time I see such spacious and yet cozy place! The bathroom is unlike the usual HK wet style, it's a proper one! Just like home. There are also lovely window seats with magnificent view here! Also the equipment in the kitchen is heaven! Victoria herself is a very kind and caring host, even though we didn't get the chance to meet her, she took care of everything and made sure we had no trouble getting in. She left lovely notes, free beer and even hangover cure for us, the best host I have had the fortune to have so far. This is your best choice in HK!
Victoria's place was as shown in the photos. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Taxis were easiest to find by walking to the end of the streets as most of the ones that passed in front were usually occupied. It's a short walk to the mid-levels escalators and an easy walk to the IFC Mall (HK station) if you have the time and energy. When I arrived I was met by Victoria's friend Arnaud who was very friendly and explained how to use the AC and gave Victoria's instructions. He left me his address of where to drop the keys off when I checked-out. It was a short distance and enroute to the train station so not at all inconvenient. Victoria left all the instructions for everything I needed and I was very happy in general. Across the street is a restaurant called Oolah with great breakfast offerings. A must try. My only challenge was how to modulate the water temperature of the shower as it was too hot but towards the end of my stay I figured it out and everything was perfect. I am looking forward to staying in Victoria's place again if I ever travel to HK alone again. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
