Simon & Caroline were amazing hosts! The place was clean, convenient, and had a ton of goodies for breakfast & beyond to get us started each day! Thanks so much for your hospitality!
The house is great: everything is new and clean; very functional; and the location at a reasonable walking distance to city centre.
On top of that, Simon and Caroline were always very kind and also provided all kind of directions for us to enjoy not only the house, but also the whole city.
Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert!!!
I came with 4 friends to Dublin for the Ireland vs Scotland rugby weekend. Simon immediately understood our purpose for coming and was really helpful throughout. A welcome email / arrival bowl was a fine touch!
The house was fantastic. We had everything we needed and felt we had stayed somewhere very special. Even though we were a group of 5, we managed to all get hot morning showers by adv. hot water! We watched the 2nd Sat match using the TV projector, we all rushed home to enjoy the action! Every comfort was in place and it was really easy to get into town or along the coast on the DART.
I would imagine their patio / BBQ is unbeatable in summer - don't hesitate!
The house was well decorated. It's a really cosi place and it was a pleasure to live there for 5 days. The hosts were nice and they let a basket full of Irish things for us. They also gave us a documentary with information about Dublin and the area where we lived. I would strongly recommend this amazing house to people.
The house is elegantly decorated. It has an open layout, and very interesting furniture. There is a giant bean bag that was so comfortable I fell asleep on it multiple times. The lighting fixtures are beautiful, and I took photos of several as inspiration.
The home is in a suburb about 25 minutes walking distance from tourist sights such as Trinity College, National Museum, National Library, Dublin Castle. For the price, I think the location is decent.
The hosts are very considerate. Simon left detailed notes of how to get a taxi (which we used), where to buy groceries, where to get takeout. He also left us a welcome basket of jam and chips!
It's clear that the family who lives in this home is a loving family. They have cute christmas ornaments with baby photos, calendars with family photos, and other baby knickknacks. It's nice to be in an atmosphere that feels loving.
Nice family, communicative. Would rent to them again
