Jessamy has been such a wonderful host, and I have enjoyed every day in her fantastic flat ... enjoyed my mornings in the fairytale balcony, and if lucky together with Kingsley, her friendly cat. It was a heartwarming and a very reassuring welcome I got my first day ever in Australia, I have received nothing but help and suggestions on how to do in Sydney.
I really hope to see Jessamy, if she (hopefully) will visit Denmark in the future
A stay at Jessamy's is highly recommended!
I stayed at Jessamy's lovely apartment for six nights in April 2014. The guest bedroom is generously sized and faces towards the bay, and I was immediately in love with the fresh breeze through the window, and the birds singing their heads off in the trees.
Jessamy gave me a lovely welcome and explained where everything was.
I slept wonderfully as the location is very quiet, and the bed and pillows are lusciously comfortable.
Jessamy has a wonderful talent for decor, and the apartment is as delightfully quirky as Jessamy is a warm, friendly, charming, hospitable and personable lady.
I loved my stay in Sydney, and being so close to Parisian Potts Point, and buzzing Kings Cross, is another plus for this property! I will look no further for a return visit.
I could have not found a better place to stay in Sydney. Jessamy is a lovely host so attentive and helpful. The flat is located in Elisabeth Bay , walking distance from Kings Cross and gorgeous Darlinghurst. Loved my stay here. The flat is really charming and clean in a quiet area. Would recommend this place to stay for anybody travelling alone to Sydney.
Jessamy is a warm and friendly host and has a lovely apartment full of interesting things. Kingsley the cat was very welcoming and the bed was really comfortable. A very happy experience for my first time using airbnb. I wish I could have stayed longer.
One of my best airbnb experiences! Jess was such a lovely, caring and considerate host. Her apartment felt like a home away from home. I especially loved the terrace with a glimpse of the harbour. The location was also perfect - right around the corner from the harbour, where you can sit and have a coffee at the cutest little cafe while looking out onto the water and beautiful views. It's also walking distance from Kings Cross station, the gorgeous Botanic Gardens and the lovely neighbourhood of Potts Point is just up the street. I couldn't have asked for a better Sydney stay. I actually didn't want to go. Thank you, Jess!
Very well decorated apartment.
We were very nicely welcome by Jessamy. We almost had the complete apartment only for us during our stay.
Very comfortable bedroom with a very very comfortable bed!
The apartment is very close to the city centre (circular quay 30min walk) Wooloomooloo quay (10min walk) Elisabeth quay (5 min Walk). Just beside the appartment there is a wonderful small park with a pound full of japanese fish. It's almost unreal. In front of that park you can visit the Elisabeth bay house.
Very good location.
This is a great location. Walking distance to great food. Just down the street is the bay with a great little coffee shop on the water. I will stay here when I visit again.
The apartment and location are (website hidden) is nearby shops, restaurants and 10 min walk to train station with a 5 min ride to the city centre.Further,Jessamy is a great host.Even she was not there during my stay, she took care of everything via her partner who was very friendly and helpfull. The view from the balcony is very nice as you can see part of the bay. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is clean and tidy.I would definitely stay there another time and recommended it as a nice (email hidden)ank you very much Yessamy,it's a pity we couldn't meet each other.
It was truly a pleasure to meet Jessamy, she was such an amazing host, and an incredibly kind person. She accommodated us even though we showed up a bit early, which we really appreciated a lot after a very long travel from Sweden. Her cat Kingsley was a pleasant host while she was away, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful area around Elisabeth Bay. We would very much have liked to spend more time with her, we definitely recommend her and hope to meet her again in the near future!
My first Airbnb experience overseas and I can honestly say I'm sad to have left! Sydney was great obviously but it was Jessamy's warm and friendly demeanour that marked my first trip to Oz! She was so accommodating, the room was awesome with quite possibly the best bed I've ever slept in! Someone I'd like to say I can now call my friend in Sydney! Would (and already have) recommended to anyone visiting Sydney
