Director of a marketing firm in Boston. I travel for work A LOT: Brazil, Mexico, UK, Germany, Japan, China... I speak Portuguese and Spanish. My partner works in the biology department at Harvard, and does not get to travel as much for work as I do. He was a German teacher in a former life.
We just sold our vacation home in Sarasota, Florida, and are ready to explore new places after having taken a break from international (vacation) travel the last eight years.
We like a little adventure when traveling...driving around and getting lost, off the beaten path. Definitely prefer warm, sunny holidays. And we always have a mix of urban and country travel.
My favorite cities are: London, Tokyo, Mexico City, and Rio.
Hobbies: gardening, cooking, TV, running, shopping (clothes, art, groceries).
Preference for modern decor, but not exclusively. Properties with outdoor space go to the top of the list.
The biggest downside of traveling is being away from our pup, Lucy, a boxer/pit bull mix who we rescued from Tennessee.
