- Proximity to Dupont Circle, Metro, nightlife
- Friendly Host
- Hot water and strong heater for the winter
- No Cable
- No Internet (after inquiry, he said he left me a hotspot, which I couldn't find and asked about again, in which he completely stopped responding)
- No Blow dryer (he delivered it to us the second day)
- No Body Wash/Shampoo (basically empty bottles with water downed solutions)
- No Curtains
- Drifting mattress (not a real mattress, its a fold out)
- Extremely eerie people working the front door, felt like I was staying at Bates Motel.
The apartment has a lot of space and is pretty clean and is located in a great neighborhood. Although I didn't meet Ron he was easy to reach when needed. Would defintley stay there again when in the Washington area.
Great location and the apartment is spacious and a true 1 bedroom. I had asked Ron for an iron and he took care of it. Would definitely stay here again!
I had a great 2 night stay at Ron's place. The location was ideal, and the studio was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it, particularly if you already have a sense of what you would like to do in the city, and are mostly looking for a convenient, relatively inexpensive place to stay.
The apartment was very nice and the perfect size for 2 people. I would not recommend more than 2 people staying because the sofa bed is very small and uncomfortable. The bathroom was not very clean when we arrived and it was questionable that the bedroom sheets and all the towels had been washed. We never met Ron and had a little trouble acquiring a parking pass from him which left me in worry over whether my car would be towed/ticketed. The apartment is a nice walk from Union Station and the National Mall and the surrounding neighborhood was nice. There was construction going on all around the apartment building but it wasn't bothersome especially since we spent the majority of our stay outside exploring. The 24/7 Harris Teeter below the building was very convenient.
Overall we would give this place 3 1/2 stars. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this apartment again.
Great location and very near to the train station. ( perfect since we had a train to catch at 4:30 am). There is a Starbucks, a supermarket, restaurants and a CVC next to the building. Great building with amenities, nice apartment but a bit dusty( however we don't know if it was because he allowed us to check in early since our train would arrive early in the morning). We enjoyed our stay but it would've been very helpful if he had left written instructions prior to our arrival on how to turn on the Tv, where to find the wifi password, and the need to access the floor using the cardkey when using the elevator. We'd stay here again.
Location was perfect for my needs and space was huge, bright and cheery. It's clear this is a new spot that no one actually lives in, which is nice for that staying in a hotel feel but a few little details are still missing (there was no garbage can in the apartment, for instance, and no notes for how to use stuff like how to get on the wifi or turn down the heat). Also had a couple awkward front desk encounters since the protocol on coming and going seemed not totally clear, but all in all it's a great spot I would definitely stay in again.
Awesome place! The apartment is modern and super clean and tastefully furnished. Super convenient to the metro...literally steps away. Grocery store beneath the building and 24 hour gym about 30 feet from the apt's front door. No complaints. Thoroughly enjoyed it and if I ever need a place in DC again, I'm staying here.
I actually stayed in the new 1-BR which is huge and convenient. Easy key exchange at front desk, and Ron is on top of messages. Strong recommend.
Ron - Your apartment was perfect for our stay. Available last minute, easy check in process, even though we arrived late and was close to all of DC. We hope to visit again soon.
