Molly had to cancel on the day she was supposed to arrive which gave me an opportunity to develop and apply a policy relating to last minute cancellations due to illness. Of course I didn't want to take advantage of the situation and so worked with AirBNB staff to come up with the best way to refund her fees. I was advised to open a resolution ticket and to offer a refund which was done promptly. Molly was very communicative and understanding of the process and I am sorry that she was unable to use the room but in the end I believe it was a good exercise and appreciate that we had the opportunity to run through this type of scenario.
