I'm currently attending the Savannah College of Art and Design but I've spent most of my time living in New York, NY and Austin, Texas. I love writing, traveling to new places, cooking and my two dogs.

Jess' apartment was great. Just as advertised. A super easy and comfortable place to crash during PsychFest. In terms of location, one day we simply walked about ten minutes to catch a bus almost right to the door of Franklin's BBQ. Super convenient! We also had access to a car, which was very helpful for getting around and I'd recommend it if you're from out of town.
Jess is place is great. I had a perfectly uneventful stay just like I hoped. I love the neighborhood and miss Austin.
Jess's cute (and spacious) studio apartment was in a great neighborhood -- quiet but close to restaurants, bars, and cafes. The Nespresso machine was a definite plus! We also appreciated the luxurious towels, the toiletries we forgot, and the easy parking. We would definitely stay there again!
Jess's studio is perfect! I have used Airbnb a lot, and this is a great place to stay! I didn't get to meet Jess in person but she was very responsive through texts. My boyfriend and I came to Austin for the SXSW festival so it was nice to take a quick bus ride (15 minutes) to a quiet neighborhood to sleep. (15 minutes on a bus is nothing- If you live in a city, you know this!) The studio was very clean, with high end bed spreads, towels, and bath mats, beautiful antique furniture and antique furnishings. I wish I lived in this gorgeous little studio! There is a cappuccino machine and french press for coffee which Jess graciously provided. There are hotel hand soaps as well as shampoos and conditioners in the bathroom. There is also a hairdryer which was fantastic! For your clothes, Jess has emptied one of her clothes for hanging. After a long day, you can come back to Jess's and watch HBO GO or Netflix on her huge Mac! If you are coming during the summer, she does have AC. Down the street is a public pool on the river, running paths, and boat rentals. Also in the neighborhood is a CVS, grocery store, goodwill, and liquor store. Magnolia's Cafe is 24 hours and also just down the street!
Thank you so much for such a sweet review! You guys are great! Hopefully we'll get to actually meet next time :)
WOW! I simply can't say enough about Jess and her place! This was my first AirBnB experience and I approached it with a bit of trepidation, if not outright apprehension but Jess' friendly and timely communications and answers to my panicky questions put me quickly at ease. The apartment itself was immaculate and throughly charming. I felt at home almost immediately. It was also perfectly geographically situated for me just two miles to the west of downtown Austin, nestled in a safe, little neighborhood with easy access to the bus line, the sprawling park along the river, and neighborhood cafes. Jess even went so far as to preload tabs on her computer's browser with information about the festival I was attending, bike rentals, restaurants, and city guides. I was SO impressed!! When I find my self in Austin again, I have no doubt about who I'll turn to.
Jessica and her husband were wonderful super clean guests! They left everything intact and tidy. Best of all they left me beautiful flowers and some beverages in the fridge. They were also very communicative. I would gladly host Jessica and her husband again.
Jessica and her husband were awesome guests! They are welcome back whenever they are in NYC
