Funny. Work with homeschool kids and teach yoga. Campy :)
If you love the outdoors, this spot is such a dream. :) A beautiful pond right out the back door, trees everywhere, a gorgeous drive in from Charleston, and Willis was and everyone who lived on the property were all really lovely. We accidentally showed up a bit too early and she told us to make ourselves at home on the grounds, so we went for a nature hike and she brought us a homemade kombucha and ginger spritzer. Seriously. The nicest host. :) And her home is lovely! It's quirky and beautiful!
If you love the outdoors, stay here! Also, since it was my first time using an outdoor shower ever, I have to say I loved it. The outdoor shower was nice and warm, considering it was about 50 out when I showered, I didn't even feel cold on the walk back to the house. :)
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful place , everithing was clean and confortable . It was very nice to have a drink outside watching the little lake . Willis is very warm and kind .
We will be happy to come back .......♡♥♡
We stayed at NatureLoversLoft for a long weekend in August. This place is just as described, if you love nature, you will love it here. Wonderful friendly hosts and gave great recommendations regarding the area. If you are planning a trip this is a definite must consider,I wish we could have stayed longer. Gorgeous area and comfortable accommodations. If we visit area again next year, we would stay again.
We LOVED this place. We stayed for 2 weeks and were sad to leave. This is truly a magic place, everything we needed but just rustic enough to feel like an adventure. Willis is a great host who made us feel totally relaxed during our trip. We may have to come back again, already missing that lake...
Our time at Willis and Jeff's was lovely. The space feels secluded and private, and is surrounded by wildlife and greenery. Our favorite part was sitting out on the screened porch overlooking the water for coffee and breakfast. Willis' collection of books and knickknacks is fascinating, and the space really felt like home. Very charming. The morning we left, we mis-set the alarm and had a dead car battery, so we missed our flight. But Jeff got out of bed to get up jump-started us, and was so kind about it. I would stay with Willis and Jeff again in a heartbeat!
Lovely spot, and Willis was extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations were quirky, but there was always hot water for the outdoor shower, and it's a great location for outdoors eating (when the weather cooperated!). We also enjoyed sitting outside watching the birds. The dogs were also delightful and very welcoming!
This rustic cabin was the perfect place to retreat to after spending a day exploring Charleston. We slept so well in the sleeping loft, and even though the weather was chilly the outdoor shower was very warm! It was great to see a part of the Charleston area that I am sure not many tourists get out to see. The cabin is very close to the Angel Oak and only about 20-25 minutes into Charleston's downtown area. The cabin itself is situated on such a beautiful landscape - a garden, a pond, lots of birds, and two very funny dogs. Thanks for having us!
Wonderful hosts, wonderfully quirky accommodations! This was exactly what we were looking for. A quite, interesting escape. Kayaking, nature-walking, fishing, reading...it fit the bill in every way imagined. The host's vibrant personalities were delightfully infectious. We look forward to going back. As an added bonus, the "Angel Oak" was only a few minutes away. We also had the pleasure of seeing a few of the strange white squirrels that are seemingly unique to the area. A critter we didn't even know existed! Thanks Willis and family for your hospitality!
Response from Willis:
thanks so much to yall too.
it was such a delight to have you, and you are welcome back anytime!!! xooxoo
Christina was a great guest. Easy to accommodate and friendly. We recommend her as a guest to your home.
Willis is genuinely warm, loving, humble and kind! This is a really weird coincidence that i am writing this reference now, because less than ten days ago, i was on a road trip with some new friends when we realized we all knew Willis, and i said... "i've never met anyone who had anything but good things to say about her!" People love this lady! And you will too!!
Willis is amazing! She is unique, beautiful, refreshingly simple, warm, and loving.
