I am a retired high school chemistry teacher currently spending a lot of my time as a volunteer docent at the Denver Botanic Gardens. I enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, golf, painting, and being a new grandmother. My hometown is Washington, D.C., and I've lived in New York and Pennsylvania before moving to Colorado. My passion for conservation of the environment has found an outlet in leading educational tours of the alpine tundra on Colorado's Front Range. My life motto at age 70: Never let yesterday use up today.
