We are a local family that love to meet people from all over the world and show them a little of the amazing country that we have, Perú.
My dad and I had a great experience staying here. The room was clean, plenty of space, and it felt very home-y. Our host even offered us a typical Peruvian seafood soup for dinner! She was very happy to help us and was flexible with us checking in at 5am.
The location was on the outskirts of the main plaza so it was quiet and only a few minutes walk to the plaza. There were some good looking "hole-in-the-wall" Peruvian places to eat in our neighborhood as well as a small store or two with snacks and essentials.
This place was great! The location was excellent. Angela responded promptly and was very accommodating. And her mother was very kind to us despite the language barrier!
Staying at Angela's place was excellent, the location was great and I really enjoyed the walk to the main plaza. Their is lots of little delicious cafes in every direction.
The house it's self was everything as described and the hot shower was hot. Angela's was always prompt with communication.
The host was lovely, very welcoming and accommodating, and the location was wonderful! However the room was really loud. The street noise carried through straight into the room and made it very difficult to be able to sleep at night which was a drawback as we wanted to be awake for our busy days! There was also a lot of light in the room early in the morning. We could make do with the light by wearing eyeshades but the noise really was a problem. Other than that the host was truly very nice and the location was great for seeing all the highlights of Cusco.
Our stay was wonderful! Very accurate and would love to stay here again
Our stay in Cusco was wonderful! Angela's mother was very helpful and kind. The place was in a great location, close to everything and comfy beds and a hot shower! I couldn't ask for more. We needed to stay an extra day on short notice and Angela was vey accommodating, would love to stay here again.
Great location, close to main Plaza. Angela's mother, Marcela didn't speak English but she was very friendly and motherly. Angela and her brother were happy to be translator when needed. Beds very comfortable and bathroom was fine.
Has a kitchenette with a small fridge which is convenient.
Only issue was barking dogs in the street but can't blame the host for this as the dogs are all over town.
We had a great time at Angela's apartment! Her mother Marcela was very sweet and hospitable.
We had a very good experience with at Angela's place. The room is well located, 5 minutes walk to the Cusco main square, and a nice 20 minutes walk to Sacsayhuaman. Angela's mum was very helpful. She was always willing to help us.
We are a family with two kids, we put the two beds together and we slept very well the four of us.
Their family provided, hands-down, the best airbnb experience. Angela was extremely responsive with the airbnb texting app. At one point, my travel mate and I didn't have any hot water for whatever reason. The problem was quickly fixed with a quick text to Angela. Angela's mother is one of the sweetest hosts and mothers I've encountered. She made us tea, gave us traditional bread from their hometown of Paucartabmo, and even offered to bake a pie for us! I most appreciated the time she and her son (Angela's brother, Fernando) set aside to tell us about some of the traditions and parades of her hometown. Fernando was also more than willing to be a translator (English/Spanish) for us and constantly checked up on us to ensure we were okay. The room was more than adequate; it was a true "bnb." The creaky floors, thick blankets, wooden chests, and large windows overlooking the road gave the room and home so much character. The bathroom has been completely renovated and is something to look forward to when returning from the bathrooms at some of those archaeology sites;)! If you are in Cusco, you want to stay with this family.
