Drago's apartment is conveniently located, close to the bus station and also to downtown Zagreb. The kitchen is fully equipped and the apartment is nicely decorated and pretty clean. He is a native English speaker, very helpful and welcoming. I'd definitely stay there again.
I only can recommend the appartment of Drago. He is a real nice host and we felt homelike. Especially when my kids say it's cozy then it's true. To the center of Zagreb you only walk about 10 minutes. What you need more to enjoy the lovely city.
Great apartment in a really good location just 3 tram stops from the very centre of town.
The host is great. Very relaxed and willing to make things as best as they can be for you.
If I were going to advise someone a place in Zagreb, I'd say to use this one.
Great host! Wonderful place. Walking distance to the center. Grocery store close-by. Nice apartment.
Drago was a great host. Had everything you need, maps and info booklets galore. He explains everything thoroughly and makes sure you have everything you need. Place is central, clean and well equipped.
I had a pleasant stay at Drago's in Zagreb. The apartment is very nicely located- about a 15 minute walk to the main square, and right near tram lines and shops, cafes, etc. It is a modern apartment with everything you could need. It is true that the room I stayed in had a sleeper (pull out) sofa, but I found it to b perfectly comfortable, with particularly luxurious bedding. It is also true that the room opens up onto the street, but if you are used to city noises (it is, after all, in the city), hopefully it would not be a problem for you. There is also another room available that is in the back of the apartment.
Drago himself was very helpful and answered my many questions about the area and sightseeing, etc. He also helped me out when I wanted to wash some of my clothes in his washer, got up super early to make sure I had a taxi to the airport when I left, and helped me with my bags, etc.
I would recommend his place to people interested in checking out the great city of Zagreb!
Drago was helpful and speaks excellent Canadian-English. However, the room we were in was only a few meters away from a very busy and very load city tram. The "Bed" was a worn out sleeper couch. So, we did not get much sleep prior to starting our 14 hours of flight back home.
Great host! Drago was a nice guy who would go out of his way to make your stay comfortable. The centre was a hop skip and jump away from his place.
I would recommand to everyone to go in Drago's place. Very nice guy who has a lot of advices to help you in discovering Zagreb. More than that, I spent a great time speaking with him about his interests and other subjects.
Drago is a great guy, with a great place in the heart of Zagreb. He speaks English and Croatian very well. Also the apartment is very nice on the inside. A great deal for any traveler.
Drago is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He is a social hub for the foreigners living in Zagreb.
His Thursday night dinner gatherings are legendary for the great people, delicious food, great wine and overall really good vibe in a gorgeous apartment.
Can't wait until fall when he starts hosting "Dinner and Drinks @ CasaVlaška" again :)
