I'm an adventurer who loves exploring the world and meeting new people. The tall guy is my partner Jeremy.
Lieselot was an Awesome guest! She is very intelligent, well-traveled, and was such a joy to get to know! Although she only stayed for one night, she kept up great communication and left the room in perfect condition. I would highly recommend Lieslot as a guest and hope that she'll come back to stay often!! :-)
Lieselot and Jeremy were very nice and we enjoyed meeting them. They were clean and respectful - no problems. We would have them again anytime. We hope they'll come in the summer : )
Lieselot and her patner, Jeramy, stayed at my house for about a month and a half as they were doing Law Internships.
It was difficult for me during that time as their focus was on other things besides the maintence and cleaning of the house. They did manage to wash their own dishes which I appreciated. It would have been nice if they had cleaned up the greasy oven after deep frying things, and picked up spills from the floor. Their room was as big of a disaster as when my teenage son lived with me. There were dirty dishes in the room, borrowed items that I was missing, clothes stewn all over the floor along with other items. They removed the doors to the wardrobe without asking me first. I'm glad they put them back on the day they left.
It bothered me when they turned on every light in a room and when they forgot to turn lights off when they left the room. At times I would find lights that had been left on all night. They would often cook at 10:30pm. That was fine if I was working but when I was home it was hard to sleep with the cooking odors and noise rising up to my rooms on the floor above them.
I'm sure their intentions were good (they gave me some flowers when they left--thanks again for that.) I think they were just not aware of how to share a house, of how to conserve electricity, of how to reduce cooking odors and messes, of how to ask before they borrowing things. I attribute this to youth. I would not enjoy having them stay with me again.
