Mi piace ospitare gente che viene a visitare il meraviglioso golfo dei poeti, Lerici, Portovenere e le Cinque Terre
I like to accommodate people who come to visit the beautiful Gulf of Poets, Lerici, Portovenere and the Cinque Terre
Luca was excellent and picked us up from the station despite us being later than expected due to the train strike. He assisted us with our luggage up his 85 steps to the apartment. The place was clean and compact with everything we needed.
Communication with Luca was really easy: message, textmessage and even on the phone. We had a great time at his place. The flat is really clean and lovely. We enjoyed being close to La Spezia but in a nice small street. Luca was full of great advices: maps, where to park for free ... We enjoyed our stay in Italy very much. Grazie mille.
Nice small room. Good location. Limited hot water supply. Tv on wall placed extremely high, unable to use comfortably. Nice greeting and quiet side street.
This place was great, Although I didn't get to meet Luca he was great when it came to directions and organizing entry etc. The apartment is fantastic, incredibly clean and new, though there isn't much around it's a 5 minute bus ride to the centre of La Spezia. Would highly recommend this place.
Luca was a great host! He was kind enough to look for us after we arrived half an hour late because of traffic on the road, and I was panicking because I didn't have a mobile phone with me. Fortunately he found us, and was super kind in helping us with our luggage and everything.
His place has everything you need, and everything was very clean.
You can take the bus right in front of the apartments, that will take you to the train station and buy a day-pass to visit Cinque Terre, it's an incredible experience. Also, don't miss Portovenere!
Very clean and modern apartment. We felt very comfortable there. And then there's the stairs. If you're traveling light and are in fairly good shape, go for it. If you have heavy luggage, I wouldn't recommend it.
The appartment is a cute little maisonette in a newly renovated (2013) house (email hidden) about 15 min. by bus from La Spezia downtown. For the price of a few meters by foot and a couple of steep stairs, you will feel like in the the heart of Italy, a really nice neiborhood. The best part is probably the amazing view over the harbor of La Spezia from the kitchen upstairs.
Luca was a very friendly host, taking care of us upon arrival and helping us with everything necessary. Thank you very much for a beautiful stay.
Communication with Luca was very easy and he was nice enough to meet us and show us to the apartment personally. There are lots of steep stairs leading up to the apartment, but we were there to hike the Cinque Terre so we were up for it.
The apartment is gorgeous, has all the things you need for your stay and is super clean. Plus, there are lovely views of the marina and surrounding town. The only thing we missed was wifi, but we were able to buy a wifi card at the train station and use it throughout our travels through Cinque Terre.
We loved our visit to Luca's place and I would highly recommend it to any small party (2 or 3 at most) looking to stay. Thank you Luca for your gracious hosptiality!
We had a lovely time in la Spezia, unfortunately it wasn't hot enough during our stay to visit the beach, but we did visit Cinque Terre and were blown away with the amazing views and experience of the costal towns!
Luca's apartment was very modern and comfortable, we felt at home there. Luca was so nice and friendly and helped us with our luggage up the stairs (it is a traditional European style villa so there are quite a few stairs.) But it was in great location with the bus right out the front door which took you right into the city.
We would recommend Luca's apartment to anyone wanting to stay in La Spezia and visit the Cinque Terre region.
