I had a really comfortable stay here, and I was made to feel very welcome throughout.
It's great for exploring the north west and an easy drive from Stintino, Alghero, Argentiera among others.
Really friendly and very helpful hosts. We felt always welcome and all of them tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great and kind hospitality!
Gave us good advices where to go and had a lot of useful maps.
Although we had a rough start to our holidays, due to the fact that we lost our luggage on our way to Italy, we had a great time here. In fact, our stay at this address nearly made us forget about the luggage. We found that the family running this AirBnB were very welcoming and extremely helpful. They picked us up at a bus stop (which appeared to be more than a half an hour drive from the house), gave us useful advice on where to go and how to go there and in general were always available for questions or help. It is fair to say that we felt at home for a couple of days. The room was decent: neatly furnished, airconditioned and clean. Much to our surprise, our room was cleaned every day and the bathroom, which you share with the other guests, was quite luxurious. Breakfast was served by the family every day: no time limit, no pressure, plenty to choose from and several types of fresh coffee.
The village is small, but if you've got a car, several places are within reach. We would recommend to follow up all the advice given by the family. They pointed out the best beaches, restaurants, villages and small towns to us and those never failed to live up to the expectations. Especially Alghero, which is less than an hour drive away, is worth a visit. The best beach is to be found in Stintino, but you would need to leave early to be able to get a parking spot (and a spot on the beach, for that matter).
For dinner, the 'agriturismo' across the street is highly recommendable. Make sure you call them before visiting, as the place might be crowded. You'll get a taste of a variety of local dishes and wines, and because it is only a three minute walk from the house to this place, you can have as much as you like.
Hereby we would like to the thank the family for a great time. We've never experienced people so welcoming ever before. Anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay, on a location enabling you to do a variety of things typical for Sardinia: look no further.
We had a lovely stay with the family d'Este. We really enjoyed the nice room with a good bed and an spacious bathroom. Maura and her husband were very helpfull to tell us all we need to know about the surroundings. When we stayed in Casa d'Este there were no other guests, so we had the bathroom for ourselves, what we liked very much.
This was a perfect airbnb experience! The entire experience from our communication before we arrived to our stay in cassetta d'este was all amazing.
The location is great to get an authentic Sardinian experience and explore the beautiful surrounding beaches.
Our host were such lovely people (and now friends) always went out of their way to welcome us to Sardinia and share their local knowledge with nearby restaurants and walks to do.
We couldn't be happier with our stay and hope to come back and visit again soon!
My friend and I, spent 2 days at Andrea's place and we had a great time. Andrea and his friends that welcomed us, were very kind and gave us useful information about the area. Great location to visit Alghero and Grotte di Nettuno!
Our hosting family was very friendly with us. The house was clean, nice and comfortable. The bedroom we stayed in was lovely althought under the roof we needed to switch on the air conditioning. We really experienced a warm family and we took advantage of their advices on how to best enjoy the surrondings both for the squba diving and for the evening's restaurants. We recomend to visit this lovely spot of Sardinia and to stay at Casa D'Este!
We were met by Andrea's mother, who was very sweet and welcoming to us for the duration of our stay. She even picked fresh fruit for us every day for breakfast!
Our only wish is that either she spoke English or that we spoke Italian so that we could ask her more about the area, but we had a wonderful time regardless.
