I(Michiko) stayed for 3 weeks and yoshi later came for three nights. We love this B&B. The sheets were changed every three days which was very nice. We would come back when we come to Toronto.
Thank you Michiko & Yoshi, you are always welcome at our B&B.
We are very satisfied staying in your B&B. We stayed a couple of times before and we noticed you had renovated the interiors that was cleaner and better, and services were very good.
We may use your B&B in the future again.
Yoshi & Michiko
Thank you Yoshi & Michiko,
We enjoyed hosting you and we will be happy to welcome you at our bed and breakfast again.
5-star. The listing is just as it appears. Bathroom is nice and new, breakfast set up is amazing (eggs, bagels, bread, meat, cheese) and has essentially everything. 10 min walk from Yonge/Dundas sq., streetcar runs every 5 minutes.
Wissam is very nice and not intrusive at all. He responded to all my messages within minutes.
Drawbacks: Internet was a little slow but that is to be expected with multiple guests.
The area is not dangerous, but a bit sketchy if you ask me. Obviously not the fault of the host.
Thank you Andrew, It was a pleasure meeting and hosting you. I hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
Very nice stay and friendly welcome. The bedroom was comfortable and clean.
We particularly appreciated the breakfast, fresh and generous.
We'll recommend the place!
Fantastic stay! This is a beautiful house in a lovely tree lined street and Bryan was a wonderfully welcoming host. Really great value for such a nice clean place in such a central location.
The Inn is in a convenient downtown location and has plenty of quirky charm. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The full access kitchen was great, and the breakfast was copious. I appreciated the wi-fi and the air conditioned, bright and sunny lounge.
There was a strange smell in the doorway to my room when I arrived, and someone from the Inn came right away to investigate it. The smell disappeared over time, but I commend the Inn for how they handled this. They offered me a room at another property (I declined), offered me a partial refund (I declined), and then sent me a follow up email apologizing (again) and offering me a discount for a future stay.
Problems happen sometimes. It's all in how they're handled that makes the difference. They did a really great job with this.
courteous, quiet space...great space to recoup!
Wonderful place with great attention to detail. Host make you feel very at home. Note shared bathrooms which was something I did not realize at before booking. Also the neighborhood can be pretty seedy after dark (Dundas Street in particular)
I would recommend Toronto Garden B & B. The location is very central to downtown and transit. It was very clean and well maintained. The host is welcoming and around for any questions.
It was very warm in Toronto during my stay and the central a/c was very much appreciated!
Toronto Garden Inn was definitely a peaceful place of refuge after many hours flying from NZ. Unal's directions made it easy to find the place along with little lights on the front tree. He was also very accommodating regarding late arrival due to flight time, with a key code emailed in advance. The quiet classical music playing in the kitchen -open 24 hrs for a late night tea, -just what I needed. Bedroom and nearby bathroom all clean and nicely appointed. Fellow travellers from around the world added to the interest. I was a little worried about the nearby location, but found myself to be perfectly safe walking there from the town center both nights after dark. Thanks for everything Unal, Marg.
