I live in Paris since 13 years and enjoy it.
I like metting people and share experience.
We never met Danielle but were greeted by the maid. This was okay but as a warning, the maid does not speak English very well. It may help to bring a guidebook or a note pre-translated! Though we didn't see her, she was responsive by email and we did talk to her on the phone when we arrived.
The apartment was in a lovely area, 10 minutes or so from the Lourve, perfect! Skip the bakery next door, we thought it was only okay, and hit up the many bakeries and patisseries around the corner on Rue Montorgueirl. The room was perfect for two with a window out onto Rue Tiquetonne. Beautiful floors and the bed is larger than it appears in the photographs. We didn't spend much time in the apartment, and it was great for our needs. WiFi worked, she had a corkscrew for our evening wine and even a fan for those stuffy summer nights.
Some quirks: there is a step down into the bathroom which we kept forgetting about and the entrance is in the middle of a restaurant Casa Picaflor, so we had difficulty finding it. We also had trouble with the TV, but we didn't really need to use it much.
Apartment was cosy and clean and it had everything as shown online. The double glazing window helps with the night noise. We felt safe and secure in the apartment and enjoyed the surrounding shops and restaurants.
It was just as expected. Photo is accurate. Facilities are as advertised. Because of the Coupe du Monde, noise level was terrific until about 0200 but this will be a singularity I feel.
Danielle was very helpful, took good care of me despite difficulties brought about by the Rail Strike, and was very sweet person to interact with.
We had an amazing time in Danielle's apartment. The apartment is just like the photo. location great very close to all the attractions in a vibrant and exciting area.
The flat was located in a great location where we could take the underground anywhere. We had a great time in Paris and Danielle was available whenever we needed her. She was a good host. Thanks!!
Enjoyed our stay. Easy to find. The location was amazing, so many cafa's and very central to centre of paris. Danielle was very helpfull
This past week my husband & I spent part of our Honeymoon at Danielle's - this was our final stop traveling in Europe & it turned out to be our favorite place to stay! Not only was her apartment clean, welcoming, and comfortable to stay in, Danielle was also professional, helpful, and organized. As much as we loved to have our own kitchen & washer/dryer in unit, the apartment was all the better because of the proximity to great places to eat and window shop. It's easily walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame, along with direct access to the Metro just around the corner. Thanks again Danielle for such a lovely visit - we'll be sure to come back for an anniversary!
Danielle's place was perfect, centrally located, easy walk to the subway, Louvre and Marais shopping area. Lots of great restaurants in the neighbourhood away from the really busy touristy areas.
The apartment was very clean, well-equipped, and located on a quiet street. Danielle provided a lot of helpful information and was quick to respond to inquiries. We loved our 4-day stay and would happily return or recommend to anyone looking for a romantic apartment in Paris.
My mom and I had a great time staying in Danielle's studio while we were in Paris. The studio is beautifully decorated and in a wonderful location - the street it is on is full of many great restaurants and shops and the metro stop is just a quick walk away. Danielle makes sure you have everything you could possibly need during your stay (the studio was stocked with guide books, maps, and detailed guides on how to use the tv, phone, kitchen appliances, etc.) and she was quick to respond to any messages I sent. If I have a chance to return to Paris I would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely stay in Danielle's studio. It had everything and more that we could possible need. A great location and close to all important things like coffee and good restaurants. Will book ourselves in next time we are in Paris. Thanks for all your help Daniele
Danielle and her Friend stayed with us in Bruges and they are what makes AirBnb great! Super friendly, quiet and respectful! Welcome back anytime and wish you a Happy New Year!
Danielle seemed like a nice guest. She came around half an hour late without following our agreement to inform each other via text message in case one of us arrives late. But its not a problem for me, i let her into the apartment at her desired time.
Due to the way the apartment was left, with trashes and personal belongings left in the bathroom, unfortunately i can not recommend Danielle to stay at your property. If you can afford unexpected surprises then you can leave your keys with her.
