Letizia and her partner made us very welcome upon our arrival, in fact they came and found us having got a little lost on our drive into San Teodoro so that we could follow them to the apartment - again, thank you Letizia!
Letizia and partner appeared, as they showed us around, to be very proud of their home and so they should be - the property was brilliantly clean and tidy and full of clever and homely little space saving touches.
So, a lovely home, more impressive than as listed with a blue/nautical theme throughout. A cosy, almost studio flat with small kitchen and bathroom (including a small washing machine - very useful after the beach!) with a good size sleeping area upon a mezzanine floor which looks down onto the sitting area/kitchen below and with plentiful wardrobe space.
Back in the kitchen - it is small, but perfectly suitable for creating some lovely home cooked dinners (should you choose not to eat out). The only concern here (and for the whole property) is that Letizia showed us the gas tap under the sick, so as to turn on and off as we needed it. Not something we're used to doing it initially made me a little paranoid - though not really an issue, and we did forget to turn it back off on occasion, without any issues. Letizia - we did turn it off before leaving!
The sitting room/kitchen doors open onto a lovely outside patio and dining area followed by a lovely view down to the bottom of the garden, with views onto the mountains. At the bottom of the garden, an outdoor shower - absolutely blissful after a hot sticky day in the sun and sand. Across from the shower is a beautiful, Italian style stone BBQ - shame not to..!
The house is located in a quite residential village a short, 10 min walk from the centre of San Teodoro. Here it was very quiet, day and night (at least as we found in September), which was lovely on an evening - star gazing, with he gentle chitter chatter of Italian from our neighbours in the background before total peace and quiet.
All in all, it was absolutely lovely! Do go and stay as Letizia's guests, and enjoy your holiday!
We spent nice holidays in San Teodoro. Letizia's house is well-equipped, clean and cosy and has enough space for two. Everything was like on the pictures. The colourful plants welcomed us every time we got back. Letizia made us feel home although we have not met her in person. Keys were handed from Letizia's lovely agent Maria. The house is located in a quiet area of San Teodoro, all shops, bars, restaurant are just walking distance away. Not to forget the vast white sandy beach. Olbia is just 20 mins away and easy to reach. Little drawback was the view, which was interrupted by a fence and the soccer ground; and a grand opening party of a club.
Letizia's place is ideal for people who like being not far off easy-to-reach places and night life attractions.
