I'm a singer, musician, actor, sound designer, radio maker, animal rescuer, accordion player, guitar player, reader, writer, dog lover, cancer survivor, novelty-seeker, amateur dancer, and more.
I'm in my 30's and I have a teenage son who's an aspiring hip-hop artist. His MC name is Young Catface. I have to admit, it's a lot more whimsical than the name I gave him. The gentleman in the profile picture with me is one Joe Hatfield, my partner in travel and other pursuits. We love getting out of town together, and some of our favorite trips have been to Folly Beach , SC and Washington, DC. Soon we're taking a cruise, which he loves & I have never done before. We also have a dog we're all in love with, but she doesn't like the car, so when we travel, she goes on vacation to her grandparents'.
When I'm not making a spectacle of myself on stage, I'm making radio, as a news & talk producer at 89.3 WFPL. When I'm not making any of those things, I might be found making 30s & 40z jazz with Billy Goat Strut Review & the Scarlet JazziBelles, or making tiny dogs shake my hand in exchange for cookies.
You will sometimes find me in a seedy karaoke joint, singing "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" in Ozzy's original key.
