Adorable home very conveniently located near the ferry, market and a few small restaurants and shops. We especially loved the kitchen/dining area that overlooked the large, pretty backyard. It slept 6 comfortably—the two upstairs rooms are quite large. Robin was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond to questions over email. It was such an easy weekend. The wifi worked great too, which is always a plus.
This home is very cute and quite spacious. Six people fit very comfortably! The house is in a great location on Peaks Island. It is walking distance to Hannigan's (a grocery store), a few restaurants, the Inn at Peaks Island (where the wedding I was attending was located), and the ferry! The house was supplied with all household necessities and more! Robin promptly answered any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to airbnb users! Thanks, Robin!
You are most welcome Meghan! You are a delight to work with!
The description doesn't do justice to the lovely backyard and well equipped kitchen. Just beware that the two bedrooms with the double beds upstairs are in a loft, so they are not completely quiet to downstairs noises.
Robin communicated well and the cottage was just as advertised, cozy with all that we needed. It was very quiet but walking distance to the ferry. We loved the kitchen with everything that was needed to make a spectacular breakfast and found many different things to entertain ourselves. Overall, it was a very restful and peaceful stay.
Robin was an incredible host and her property was as nice and enjoyable as listed. Our party of four stayed three nights and had a great time. The house is a short walk (5 minutes) from the ferry and downtown Portland is just a 15 minute ferry ride away. She responded quickly to emails and was extremely pleasant to communicate with. I highly recommend staying at this property!
We had a very pleasant time. What was most surprising was the fully stocked refrigerator and pantry. Everything we needed was there and it felt very cozy and very close to the down town area. Also the beds were very comfortable. We would all consider going back .

If you want to feel at home away from home, this is the place! :)
Nice neighbors, very friendly people on the island.
We had a great time! Thank you very much!
For my daughter's college graduation from Maine College of Art in Portland, ME, I decided to rent a house for a group of our family to stay for the graduation weekend. I looked everywhere until I found Robin's house on Peaks Island. As soon as I saw the house, I knew it would be a nice place to stay. As soon as I started making arrangements with the owner, I realized how much fun it would be. We had a lot of communication and a lot of information was offered. I was comfortable speaking to Robin and she was very helpful.
I strongly recommend this beautiful and spacious home for a rental at any time. There are a few things that need to be included in the ad that are important, and that is about the cost to get on and off the Island. It is not addressed and it is important and unless you ask, you are caught off guard. The island is small and cozy. I loved it. We loved it, and our family had a great time in Robin's house for our daughter's graduation.
We had a great weekend on Peaks Island and really enjoyed the house. There were two couples total who stayed and the house fit our needs perfectly. It was very comfortable and set up perfectly for renters. The island was fun to explore over the two days we stayed.
Robin was an amazing help throughout the whole process. She was prompt to reply to inquires, send instructions, and followup on the trip. Her home on Peaks Island is beautiful and we had an amazing weekend in Maine!
