After carefully packing for a 3-day trip, I arrived at Lorie's without my carry-on bag of liquids. Lorie and her sister took care of my basic needs so I wouldn't have to spend time finding travel toothpaste and such.
We had several times to relax and chat in their beautiful town-home. The weather was cold, wet, and brisk, but they're in a beautiful neighborhood with a view of woods from the living area and deck. A nice retreat from the conference downtown that I was attending. One morning, I enjoyed an easy and lovely walk through the neighborhood and through Victoria Park to get to my conference at the Tannery.
As I was preparing to leave on the last day, my cab driver canceled on me, and again, Lorie came to the rescue, recommending an established taxi service that sent a driver around in two minutes.
Lorie and her sister know what it means to be hostesses. They're more than accommodating and go out of their way to make your stay a great one. I know I've left two friends in Kitchener.
I stayed here for almost 4 weeks and had a great experience. Lorie and her sister were welcoming and kind, and their place is beautiful and quiet. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I am in town.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lorie's house!
Her house is really clean, the room is big enough for 2.
Lorie is very friendly and open hearted.
The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, but by car you are downtown in a few minutes.
Lorie and her sister are wonderful guests,it was pleasure to have them in our house, they will be welcome any time.
