The general experience was very good. Although we ended us staying in alternative accommodation due to the issues in the apartment, Riccardo got in touch with us in timely manner and offered very good alternative. The communication with him was excellent, he met us on time as agreed and gave some useful tips about the city. Overall pleasant experience, would stay there again.
This place was great! It was in a nice and relaxed neighborhood that was fun to walk around at night because it was like you had the city to yourself for some blocks. We took advantage of the washer to clean our laundry after two weeks of travel. Benito the owner let us in and meeting up was easy even though our train was a little late. Only one of the room has air conditioning which was okay for us since the weather was on the cooler side but of it was hot it would have been hard. I would recommend this place.
Nothing to complain about - just a good place to stay.
Overall, I am pleased with my stay. Riccardo was quick to respond to emails and Mr Benito, the owner, was very helpful as well. The flat was clean and ideally located near the Train Station and Grand Canal.
Riccardo is a very nice landlord.
And the house as same as the picture.
and the location is very good !!
only 5 minutes walk from santa lucia station.
the view from the window in kitchen is very good.
we had great time to stay in here !
We loved the location of this apartment right in the center of Venice. Perfect walking distance to everything. Riccardo was great at getting us set up especially when my sisters bags were lost at the airport. Mr. Bonito was such a great host. Apartment was not as nice as it seemed in the description/pictures. Both beds were uncomfortable and actually two twin beds pushed together. Air conditioning/fan were good. The one thing I was most unimpressed by was the overwhelming smell of mold/dust. Beware if you have allergies(clean just an old heritage apartment)!! But fine for if you're only staying for 1 or 2 nights.
Very great location, host is very nice. House is clean and big enough for four of us. We can find everything we need in the kitchen. A small balcony. Everything is good. Highly recommend to everyone.
We never met Riccardo, though he was always prompt in responding to mails. Mr. Benito owns this property and he met us at a predesignated spot/time outside the station to guide us to this apartment.
His apartment is very well located in a very quiet neighborhood 6-7min walk from the train statioin, and has a rustic charm to it. The rooms were clean, but the beds are somewhat hard and sagging, and the bathroom had cobwebs in the corners. As mentioned in the amenities, there is no kitchen and no wifi; but apart from these minor issues, the place was perfect for our short stay.
We booked the apartment through Riccardo and were met by Mr. Benito, the owner, by the train station. The apartment is not far from the station but only if you know where you are going -- it's in a somewhat confusing neighborhood without street signs, where we managed to get lost more than once in the 3 days we were there. We didn't feel that the area was as "happening" as other reviewers describe. The apartment itself was clean. However there was no WiFi or TV. The air conditioning is only in one bedroom and requires the window to be propped open to operate (since there is a plastic hose leading outside). The bathroom was nice but we were only provided with three very small/thin towels. Not sure if we would stay here again.
