My first job was catching lightbulbs. I was 5, perhaps 6, and would follow the manager of our apartments around when he changed the outdoor bulbs. Perched from atop his ladder, he'd drop the bulbs into my waiting hands. I earned a penny per bulb I catched. I never dropped a bulb. I retained that work ethic through my various careers - radar tech in the Air Force, attorney, electrician. Really. True story.
