Hawksbill was our first Airbnb experience, and I can't think of a better place to have it! Patty met us with a notebook that include detailed directions to the house, detailed sites to see along the beach, and other attractions in the area.
The house was immaculate! It was well furnished and airy. When we joked that we couldn't find any steak knives, they appeared the next day. The beach access that Patty suggested was beautiful, and we enjoyed snorkeling there. We also tried Champagne Pond, but didn't see any turtles that we remembered from the last time in the area.
We met a number of neighbors in the community, and found them all friendly, helpful and informative. All and all, it was an excellent place to stay, and we were only sorry, that we couldn't stay longer.
Hawksbill is a haven for Monarch butterflies. While we were there, one of the chrysalis on the lanai "hatched," and we watched the new butterfly dry her wings, and finally fly away. A joy!
We definitely will be back to enjoy Hawksbill another time...
