We had an amazing time at Chris and Audrey's lovely home. We were enchanted by the surrounding vineyards and even got to see (and learn about) the harvesting of the grapes on a few evenings! The house is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms were comfortable (especially the sheets), and Audrey's cooking is bar none. We will be back!
We had the most wonderful time with Chris and Audrey at their beautiful home. They had us feel at home. Home was in perfect shape and we used their kitchen and also backyard (which is beautiful).
They are most wonderful folks.
We had a great experience staying with Chris and Audrey. Their house and the surrounding area is beautiful, the room was extremely comfortable, and breakfast both days was delicious. We did not meet Chris, but Audrey was very friendly and accommodating, and we look forward to hopefully staying with them again in the future.
We had the most perfect weekend staying here for my husband's birthday. Audrey and Chris were extremely welcoming and have a beautiful home. The rooms were large with private bathroom. Everything very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Audrey made amazing breakfasts for us in the morning and offered all kinds of suggestions for restaurants and places to visit in the area. The home is situated next to a vineyard and is close to many wineries. We live in San Francisco so this is a perfect weekend getaway for us. We will definitely come back!
As soon as we arrived Chris and Audrey made us feel right at home. They had a beautiful home with an equally beautiful private room that overlooked the vineyards. We enjoyed strolls through their secluded property and relaxed on the porch with wine as the sun set. Audrey cooked fabulous breakfasts both mornings too! We could not have asked for a better, more inviting stay.
Audrey and Chris were phenomenal hosts! This is the first Airbnb place I've stayed at that was ACTUALLY a Bed and Breakfast. The food was delicious, the environment wonderful. I didn't want to leave! Definitely recommending this spot to everyone I know.
Audrey and Chris made us feel welcome at their B&B well before we even landed in California! They were easy to correspond with and had many helpful suggestions for where to start looking to our winery tours, hiking and other fun destinations. Once we arrived, everything was as advertised and then some. The house was beautiful, and surrounded on all sides by gorgeous vineyards. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, the views spectacular, and we were given so much personalized attention and guidance to help make our special weekend that much more tailored to our interests and desires. This was a fantastic place to stay for our first visit to wine country - and a really special getaway (we were celebrating our anniversary). We can't recommend Audrey and Chris and their wonderful B&B enough. A gem in Sonoma County for sure. They're a short drive from some really fun towns, but also have the luxury of peace and quiet in a stunning space. Book with Audrey and Chris, you won't be sorry!
Our stay with Chris and Audrey was just wonderful and they took such a good care of us! The breakfast was great and it was served within flexible hours. The house is beautiful and it's surrounded with vineyards. We can highly recommed the Inn the Vineyards and hope to go back and stay with them again soon! Marko & Hanna
My wife and I had a fabulous time at Chris & Audrey's. They have a beautiful home that is well appointed and very comfortable. They are superb hosts and are very accommodating. The common areas are quite comfortable yet you have the option to retreat to your private room that has everything you need. The setting is very picturesque and peaceful. If you want to get to wine country to disconnect and relax, this is the place.
Chris & Audrey are Sonoma natives and provided some great recommendations on tastings and restaurants. The best part was the wonderful breakfast they prepared each morning. We were taken care of very well.
I highly recommend staying with them. We will definitely be back.
Inn the Vineyards exceeded every expectation. The house is ideally located, nestled in between quiet, peaceful, and incredibly beautiful vineyards just a short drive from happening Healdsburg and the wineries of Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys. The pictures don't do it justice - we just loved our time there. Chris and Audrey welcomed us like we were good friends or family. They opened their entire home and property to us, but also catered to our every need as guests of the "inn." We just loved reading on the porch, playing bocce in the backyard, and chatting with Chris and Audrey over deliciously prepared breakfasts. We'd recommend Inn the Vineyards over any hotel or b&b in wine country! Hope to visit again soon!
Audrey's parents, Annie and Ron, were sports in finding our place at dusk! They brought laughter and their ingrained sense of adventure! Very nice people.
It's an easy thing to write a recommendation for Chris and Audrey Le Baudour because they are both such great people. I've known them both for years and consider Chris as a mentor in my business teaching emergency medical responders how to save lives (Chris is a paramedic educator, author, and speaker). When their last child flew the coop for University they decided to turn their home into "Inn the Vineyards". My first stay at the Inn was nothing less than fantastic. Not only were they excellent hosts, they provided every amenity you would expect from a classic, high quality, stay. Inn the Vineyards is right in the middle of Sonoma Wine Country within easy reach of hundreds of wineries for you to explore. In fact, their road and driveway border some of the vineyards from Rodney Strong. The rooms are large, comfortable, and quiet. Open the windows to the sounds and smells of nature but in the morning you will be drawn downstairs to the kitchen where Audrey will be cooking up something delicious for breakfast. In the evenings, you can relax with a glass of wine on the front porch and reflect on the day or dream up reasons why you should to move to the valley. That's what we did. But until we can, we'll be returning to the Inn as our home in the Vineyards.
