The apartment is exactly as described. I felt at "home" the moment I settled in. I enjoyed the perfect location with easy access to Muni J and buses. If you want to stay in the mission and close to Dolores Park, this is the apartment for you. Liz was super attentive and responded very quickly in times of need. I look forward to staying here again. You can count on that! - Michelle
The apartment is in a great area with cool cafes and restaurants. Easy to get to the city. Spacious and cosy. Liz was great at responding to all of my emails and questions
This is a charming apartment. It is in a good location for transit and walking to the main Mission shops and restaurants and to Mission Dolores Park. The back looks into a shared green space which is nice. It is a good size for two and there was no street noise! That is saying something in San Francisco. It was possible to hear the neighbors but the noises were minimal--some voices in the hall and dish washing sounds from below was all.
There was basic kitchen equipment and nice dishes, although no microwave or coffee maker. But there was a one-mug-at-a-time drip thing. (Sorry, don't know if that has an official name.)
The bed was comfy but you can't close the bedroom door which might be a privacy issue for some. It didn't bother us. There is a small closet with hangers but no dresser space. The bathroom has a shower (no tub) that is like a lot of old showers--seemingly made for short people--but plenty of hot water
Liz accomodated us with a slightly earlier than normal check-in which was very nice and she also communicated with us in a timely manner.
Liz was a great host with no problems checking in or during our stay there. Her apartment is in a perfect location close to transport and awesome cafes, restaurants and nightlife. Warning that the hous is old so you can hear everything and they can hear you too! It's part of the charm of the building. Overall an excellent experience.
Beautiful apartment. Everything I needed was in walking distance, and the muni was only a block away. Definitely recommend staying here.
Liz's place was great. It was in a convenient location close to shops and public transport. The house had loads of room for two and was clean and very neat in a stylish renovated old building. Liz was quick to answer back to any queries and made sure we were having a good stay.
I'd reccommend this place over a stay in a hotel if you are after a real San Fran experience.
Liz was an excellent host and her apartment was awesome. It was clean and spacious. There was even a "user manual" on the kitchen table that contained information like the wireless Internet password. I know exactly where I'm staying the next time I visit San Francisco!
Liz's apartment was a great base to explore the Mission/Castro area, lots of great things around close by. Liz was a great host, really helpful and quick to respond to questions. The apartment is lovely and clean, everything we needed for an excellent week in the lovely city of San Francisco.
Cute Apartment! Well maintained and easy access to the streetcars and Market street. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Everything in the apartment was charming and clean. Would be a nice stay for anyone- we definitely recommend this place! Also, Liz was great to work with, very responsive and got back to us quickly.
Liz's place is a great home base to visit various spots in SF. As ex-SF residents, we love the neighborhood with various eateries and bars close by. The apartment itself has the perfect Victorian charm. As a host, Liz is very responsive since before we booked the place and during our stay. As a first time AirBnB user, I am happy with my experience. Just a word of suggestion for anyone else new to AirBnB, don't book a place and expect it to be a hotel... i.e. bring your toiletry.
