My husband and I have a bamboo/palm nursery. It's a quiet and beautiful spot to host our bnb. We love people and enjoy meeting and talking with people.

The host made us feel sooo welcome! They provided some wonderful fruit and scones not to mention the fresh chicken eggs from their free roaming chickens for our first breakfast so we would not have to rush into town to go shopping.
They were both receptive, very warm and friendly. It was more than what we were hoping for.
The photos were very nice but when we arrived they did not do the bungalow and the grounds justice. It was amazing.
The neighborhood was rural farm lands surrounding us and it was so quite and quaint, we just loved it.
Great place, and very welcoming. Carol left lots of breakfast things to enjoy. Cozy and perfect for our needs.
We had the best time at the bungalow. It's clean, which is my biggest thing, among other things. Quaint, the perfect size, and had a picture of sunflowers (my favorite) on the wall.
I never got to meet Carol unfortunately but she was super helpful by phone to let us know everything we needed to know.
She even left us some breakfast food and milk and some other essentials like clean towels, shampoo, and toothpaste.
I had a great experience. I can't wait to visit the bungalow again in the future.
Also - for those who want to take advantage of wine country, this is a great place to stay. Sonoma and Napa are pretty close so it's totally doable.
Thanks again, Carol! I will definitely be back!
Carol was extremely welcoming! She gave us a thorough orientation to the studio (including the various challenging to find light switches), as well as stocked the fridge with delicious organic berries and fresh eggs from her free-range chicken. When we had a plumbing issue, Carol was totally on top of it, getting a plumber out to fix it before we returned from a wine tasting excursion. The studio was well appointed, cozy, and located centrally between Santa Rosa (Russian River brewing - a must for the beer lover) and Sonoma, and only a 20-30 minute drive to amazing State Parks such as Anadale and Jack London.
We had such an amazing time at the Bamboo Bungalow! We were in town for a wedding, but really enjoyed our down time here. The property was wonderful to walk around, and the bungalow itself was super cute and comfortable. Also, the commute to Sonoma was short and sweet.
We didn't actually get to meet the hosts, but they were great. Their instructions for the wifi and the ins and outs of the bungalow were super clear. Also, they provided us with fresh eggs, fruit, coffee and muffins, more than enough for breakfast for two across our two day stay.
If I am ever in wine country again I will be looking up Carol & Andy for sure!
The bamboo bungalow is a quiet oasis in the agricultural area near Petaluma and Sonoma. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this well appointed studio nestled in among a bamboo nursery. The hosts have thought of your every need and have provided a tastefully decorated and comfortable retreat complete with a lovely kitchen stocked with breakfast goodies, a lovely bathroom and shower, a comfy bed, Dish TV, a library of books, local tourist info, and more!
We had a great time. We arrived late, but were provided with clear instructions for getting into the Bungalow so it was not a problem. The accommodations were as good as expected, roomy and clean, with a nice kitchenette. While the Bungalow is located in a Bamboo Nursery there was never a problem with noise from the workers in the morning. The location is great! Just east of the 101, near Old Redwood Hwy so downtown Cotati, Petaluma, and the wine country were all easily accessible without needing to get on the sometimes crowded 101. Good restaurants in Cotati (Thai and Mexican with vegan options), Petaluma, and Santa Rosa. Very good breweries nearby as well (well known Lagunitas and Russian River included). Andy and Carol were very nice and accommodating hosts. We enjoyed our week long stay and since we have a son in the area, plan to use the Bungalow again in the future.
I really enjoyed my stay at the bamboo bungalow. Carol is a gracious host. Everything I could have asked for was anticipated and taken care of before I got there. She even stocked the refrigerator with delicious food! If I am ever fortunate enough to visit Northern California again, I will definitely try to stay at the bamboo bungalow again.
Thank you for such a lovely experience.
Excellent experience. Very comfortable. Quiet. Pristine. Host left treats in the fridge. Would love to stay here again.
Carol and her husband Andy were wonderful hosts. I didn't get to meet Carol, but Andy was very nice when we ran into him in the yard. Everything was so nicely prepared for us, from the snacks and eggs left in the kitchen, to the surprise chocolates on the pillows. All in Cotati, a great find in the wine country with lots of live music on the main street! I would definitely recommend staying with Carol anytime you're nearby!
