All as described. Not luxurious but I wasn't expecting that. Everything is functional and comfortable. Never actually met Catherine but she responds quickly to any concerns/queries. Property is about 7-10 minutes walk from Harvard square in a pretty nice area with lots of places to eat around square. For me the location was great as I was travelling daily to MIT (Kendall) which took a total of about 20 mins door to door.
The apartment is in a very good area, however it needs love. When we arrived, we had to wait for the building manager for a while as the host forgot to unlock the deadbolt and we were not given the key for the right lock. Then, when we got in, the apartment was shabby and did not have enough clean linens.
I should say that the host was understanding and cooperative when we were not happy with the experience and was receptive to feedback. I would recommend that you do try this place out as I think the host will likely fix the place up and fix the problems, so, by the time you book, you would likely have a really nice experience. This place has a lot of potential.
