L'appartement est confortable et bien équipé. Bryan est très attentionné et sympathique. Rien à dire ! Tout est super !
This apartment was the most stylish I have ever seen. It was spotless when we arrived and had everything anyone could ever need. Bryan was so easy to communicate with, he answered promptly and kindly to all our questions before, during and after our stay and was very flexible on our departure time. The apartment is situated in Chinatown and is in walking distance to subway, restaurants and grocery stores (Mariano's is the best). A bus goes in front of the building straight to the Loop in app. 15 minutes, very convenient. I would gladly stay at Bryan's and Todd's apartment again and it is easy to recommend this to anyone.
Absolutely incredible! Not only was Bryan helpful, accommodating and hospitable. He took the time to tell us how to get around town and where to eat. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone who wants to be close to downtown but not too in the center. The loft itself is beautiful and spacious. My favorite part was sitting out on the balcony!
Two thumbs up!!
My wife and I spent a week in the apartment. It was very nice and pretty exactly as described and shown in the photos. Bryan and Todd were very helpful. It is very easy to get on the Red Line to go downtown, to catch the 21 bus to McCormick Place or to walk to Chinatown. The neighborhood may be one that you may not be comfortable walking around in after dark as there are groupings of homeless people nearby in the evenings. But, we did not have any trouble.
The loft at 2310 S. Canal is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay and a superb value for the price. We absolutely loved it and will both keep it in mind for future visits to Chicago and recommend it to friends. Host Bryan graciously greeted us and didn't seem to mind that it took us longer than we expected to arrive from the airport. He provided very thorough and useful information about the neighborhood and transportation (bus and train are very convenient from this loft's location). The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we could've desired (wine in the fridge!). The dining, living, and bedroom areas are well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch/deck, as we were lucky with delightful weather for Chicago in July. We are very favorably impressed with this loft and are grateful to have discovered it for our visit.
Great loft and photos do show how it looks. Location great for using public transport and our host Bryan was very helpful. We had a great time, thanks
Bryan's spacious loft was a great place to hang out for a few days in Chicago. The balcony went really well with the bottle of wine he left for us, and all the new kitchen appliances were really convenient for cooking our meals.
Todd & Bryan were extremely helpful and the loft was exactly as 'advertised.' Close to public transportation, nice neighborhood, with free street parking - perfect! My first experience using Airbnb was exceptional. Enjoyed Chicago & will be back.
Loft was great as was Bryan. Bryan was an awesome host and this was a great place to stay. Quick walk to the El and cheap cab from the city when we needed to do that. Chicago is a great town we had a blast!!
Bryan was super helpful and a great host! I'm a Chicago native who had to go to a conference near McCormick Place with family and friends close by, so not all of his pointers were super relevant for me, but he seems super knowledgeable about the neighborhood and things to do around town.
The loft was close enough to walk to McCormick place (I live in SF now so I walk everywhere), but you won't find most people walking; there are plenty of options for public transit otherwise.
One thing to consider if you're not a local is that area though up and coming and significantly gentrified area (at least since the last time I've spent much time in Chicago), it is a little bit sketch especially at night. I'm a city smart gal and lived in STL without getting mugged, but even I was a bit scared at night. Use a cab or uber if it's late to keep yourself safe. Walking during the day is probably okay.
The loft was otherwise beautiful, the accommodations fantastic, and the free OJ and bananas up top! Bryan really is fantastic!
