I'm 35 years old, I live in Italy and I'm an art an graphic designer, I love cooking, traveling and reading. My house is my kingdom and my friends are always wellcome by me!
Excellent apartment for long and short stay! Right in the middle of the city and very sweet!
Thank you againfor this beautiful apartment!
Una fantastica casa in pieno centro, consigliatissima anche per la super ospitalità e cordialita della "padrona di casa" Francesca! Ci siamo trovati benissimo!!!
If you can handle the mezzanine bed then this is a great wee place. The bonus of the raised bed is the view out through the skylight. It's quite warm though!
Really nice part of town. Busy pedestrian street always has something interesting to look at.
Never any shortage of eateries in nearby streets. Look a bit harder and you will find unique wee gems. Rural for a pricey but worth it meal, or Bazaaar. Well priced, interesting fare.
Small, but comfortable and in a great location. Francesca is a great host.
Le Nid Sur Le Toit is in a fantastic position with easy access to Via Po and surrounded by many small supermarkets / fruit & vegetable shops and some lovely local fashion stores. There was a nice little bar not far up the street which was bustling from morning into the evening when it became a gathering spot for the locals and their kids. A really nice atmosphere. The best of both worlds really being in a neighbourhood area populated by locals and also just one street away from the tourist strip of Via Po and Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Also in walkinging distance to trams and buses and we took advantage of the share bike system.
The apartment is spacious with a large kitchen area and plenty of good quality utensils if you like to cook.
We were 3 women sharing and two of us did have to share a queen bed.
Francesca was very helpful and available if we had any questions.
Loved the neighbourhood and love Turin!
The location of the flat was perfect, parallel to Via Po, a street with interesting cafés and shops, and within walking distance from many of the sites we wanted to visit in Turin. The nearby parking garage in Piazza Vittorio Veneto had ample parking space and reasonable rates.
The flat itself had a very good layout and lots of funky twists. The fact that there were two toilets (one with a bath) and two sleeping areas allowed my friend and I to equally enjoy the flat. The kitchen was a good place for long, relaxed breakfasts and late night chats. Too bad the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the terrace!
The only downside of being that close to the center was that my companion who stayed in the room facing the street had to contend with the noise of partygoers across the street. If you sleep soundly or are tired enough, the noise shouldn't really bother you. If you are a light sleeper, choose the sleeping area beside the kitchen, and all you will hear are occasional footsteps from the neighbors above.
Francesca and her husband were very gracious, friendly and helpful. She responded quickly to e-mail messages I sent her prior to our trip as well as to text messages I sent her when we were on sight.
Excellent location just off Piazza Vittorio and Francesca is a friendly and helpful hostess! Accommodation includes lots of "objets" so be careful!
We were warmly welcomed by Francesca and her husband. She was very helpful directing us to the flat and we were in contact as soon as we got to the airport in Turin. She gave us all the tips and advice that we needed to explore the city and made our stay enjoyable. The flat was clean and tidy and stylishly decorated in a safe central location within easy reach of restaurants and coffee shops. We had a great time and would definitely come again.
The apartment was very central location and was extremely convenient. It is onoy about 10 minutes walk from the Porta de Susa bus stop from the airport, which is brilliant.
The apartment is tidy and has everything you need for a short to medium stay. I was with my cousin and we had enough privacy for our three days' stay. You have a wonderful view from the window - we saw the Alps on a sunny morning.
Regarding the neighbourfood, there is a pedestrianised cobbled street nearby where the fashionable Torinese take a walk, eat and enjoy shopping, there is a lively market where you can buy from fruits to socks! There was a plenty of restaurants, bars and chocolate shops. The main square is not far at all if you walk fast, ignoring tempting beautiful boutiques on the way.
What else can you ask for? Thank you, Francesca!
Francesca and her family were very sweet. Their little boy Bartolomeo is adorable. We enjoyed having them stay with us. Good company!
