Perfect place and time for Yoga lovers. Was feeling very refresh and floating...)))
Thenk you for great experiance.)
Great privat bungalow but the price was a bit high.
All and all I will be coming for that Yiga for sure!
Staying at H2o Yoga was great!
We made our reservation very last minute, and Bindu was very responsive, ensuring that we had all the information we needed upon arrival.
We initially had booked the bungalow for couples, church has an outdoor bathroom, but then opted for the bungalow that has a connected bathroom and is built for 6 occupants.
His staff put 2 beds together for us to make a double bed, which was super comfortable and new.
It seems like all the accommodations on the property are new and kept super tidy.
There was daily cleaning, and we were provided with a plug in mosquito repellent for the room which was really great.
It was wonderful being able to roll out of bed and get some yoga in first thing in the morning, or to come back from a day of diving and do night session.
Staff was super friend, and after class people tended to congregate at the cafe that he has on the property for fresh made juices and healthy nuts to snack on.
There is a nice discount on yoga classes for staying on the property too.
My boyfriend and rented bicycles down the street from H2o yoga and were set. The entire island of Gili Air can be ridden around on a bicycle in about 20 minutes. So you can get anywhere on the island fairly quickly either by foot or bike.
I would highly recommend staying here for anyone that is looking to ensure they get yoga into their daily routine while on this island.
The classes offered were moderate in level and they were very friendly and open to new comers wittier detracting from then flow of class.
I only wish that there were more class offerings, but I chalk that up to it being off season on the island. I hope they offer more classes during the high season, as it was hard for my boyfriend and I to get yoga in on days that we dive on as well.
Thanks for the great accommodations!
We spend good time in this place! Bungalow was very clean, spacious and quiet! The place too!
We didn't have the time to speak a lot with our stuff (and also because of your bad english) but they look like sympatical and understanding.
Cheap price, 15mn to the beach... Without doubts it's the good place for everyone!
My stay at h2o yoga was short but very nice. The pictures are accurate and the space is cozy. There is no A/C so can feel really hot if you are in your room during the day but there are fans for at night which are sufficient. Only downfall was no breakfast or water/coffee included. Loved the yoga classes and the discount for staying at the resort:)
I had a bad experience here --- the airbnb description as well as h2o website led me to expect an ashram-like environment, and that's not what I found. When I arrived Bindu, the owner (an older Australian guy), was playing loud Australian rock over the compound'a speaker system. Loud enough to make it hard to rest, nap, or meditate, which is what I wanted to do after the journey there. Music loud enough to disturb the neighbors -- inconsiderate, at best. He reacted defensively to me asking him to turn off the music and then to my suggestion that we just cancel my reservation. He said that was impossible and airbnb wouldn't allow it, which seemed odd because he advertised a flexible cancelation policy, and that in the eyes of airbnb "this is just a hotel, not an ashram". So I had no choice but to drop my things... But then went to investigate and found that indeed the cancelation policy for his facility is flexible, and cancelation was easy. By that point it was too late to find another place.
So, judged by the standards of yoga retreat centers or ashrams, ive seen many and this place, both as space and in spirit, is the least interesting, nice, or conducive. It feels much more about making money than anything else.
Judged strictly by the standards of places to stay in this price range in Indonesia, you can do better -- the room was cramped (bed, space for door to open, and a shaving unit), poorly sealed/screened, and generally ramshackle. Very low value.
It was lovely to stay at Yoga H20 and meditation center. The center is very peaceful and nice. Bindu gave us a nice welcome and introduction to the center. We attended a yoga class and enjoyed it. It was also peaceful to be able to wake up early and meditate in a zen-filled environment. The bungalow was clean. It does share a very thin wall with an adjoining bungalow so not quite as private as we would have liked. There are shared toilets at the back of the compound and shared outdoor showers (cold water) in the middle of the compound.
Bindu was a great host. Very informative & willing.
The accommodation was very basic but fine. Bit noisy as we were underneath a tree which had fruit falling on it throughout the night.
Yoga was great & certainly a must!
Thanks Bindu & Team
Really nice place. Peaceful, recharging, inspiring. And the best owner I've ever been hosted by. Good luck on your way, Bindu!
Bindu was a great host! We had a most lovely time in this comfortable hut with soft bed and ventilator. Occasional yoga sessions were just one step away and hot water for tea was freely available. A great and affordable place to find piece on the roaring Gili's
I wish I could stay more the ambient was really nice ans the room very confortable. I had a bike abd it took me just around 10 minutes to get everywhere. Had a meditation session that was very good.
