I recently had the pleasure to stay at Issa's beautiful apartment. She was a terrific host who was available when ever I needed her. The place, located in downtown Berkeley was very convient. The apartment itself was spotless and had plenty of room. A awesome experience and will be back!!!
My parents stayed at Issa's private studio for a month. The studio is clean and accurately depicted. The neighborhood is wonderful. There is a supermarket very close. Subway is close as well. Issa is very communicative and open. The toaster did not work when my parents arrived and Issa was very quick to provide a new one. My parents had problems with noise coming from the next door neighbors during the night (there were parties it seems on a couple of nights). Issa did talk to the neighbors and things improved considerably, though my mother who is a light sleeper continued to have difficulty sleeping because of sounds coming from next door.
Issa was a wonderful host, very easy to contact and helpful. The apartment is small but has everything you will need for a visit. It is a great location for walking to many restaurants and shopping as well as Berkeley's campus. I highly recommend based on our short visit!
Convenient location and amazing host!
Thank Ko Woon! We really loved hosting you and your family! Would love to host you again!

We spent 1 month in Issa's beautiful flat, it was great. Very close from everything, not far from the Bart and the Safeway. For students it's perfect, it's just near the UC Berkeley Campus. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is nice, there are lovely plants in the flat, and the balcony was perfect for sunny days !
Issa and her husband are very nice host, they gave us informations and help.
Thanks for your lovely first review of this apartment! Happy to host you and your friends! Hope you have an amazing rest of your stay in Berkeley!

Esperanza Garcia is creative, responsible, friendly and professional. I highly recommend her because she will commit 110% to making your stay effortless by ensuring that the apartment is clean, comfortable and that you have everything that you need.
I have known Esperanza since 2010 and we have worked for a number of the same companies since then. Over the years, working together, we have developed a great friendship based on trust and mutual respect. Esperanza has never let me down and I regularly involve her when I have big / sensitive / important projects. As a result, I believe that I know Esperanza really well and I have no hesitations in recommending her.
We first met while she was working as a development consultant for Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, organizing the Youth Assembly at the United Nations which involved coordinating the logistics for over 1500 young people from all over the world. We then worked together at South-South News (SSN) organising an awards ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, covering events (including the Clinton Global Initiatives Annual General Meeting, Social Good Summit and the UN General assembly). She is very good under pressure, charming, charismatic and able to multitask while remaining professional.
She developed her passion for interior decorating while during her undergrad and it really shows in the beautiful stylish way she presents things. She was an asset to my team when I was the Policy Advocacy Coordinator during the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (UNCSD19) where she showed an impressive attention to detail. Esperanza and I also worked together at the International Youth Council -- where she tirelessly worked to create a global network of empowered youth to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. When I was an Organizing Partner for Rio+20 in Brazil, she helped recruit, train, develop and coordinate a team of over 100 interns. She got to know each individual, remembered their names and created a personal relationship with them yet ensured that they performed and benefited from the programme despite the fast changing dynamic of the event due to the pressure of the negotiations.
I have also stayed at two of her apartments in New York City and they are always well decorated, clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Esperanza Garcia has a beautiful family, a wonderful personality and never fails to impress me.
