Cynthia was a VERY great host. She even picked up me and my brother up while we were a few blocks away and all of it sudden it began to rain. She is very sweet, generous and very kind. Her house is beautiful and she is also a great artist which her art is displayed in her home. I highly recommend anyone to stay with her. The area is full of options such as parks, restaurants and bars. Not to mention a Lyft/Uber ride to downtown is approx. $6-9 dollars. I made a last minute weekend reservation and she quickly accepted. You will not be disappointed.
We have stayed with Cynthia several times. She is a great host with a nice house, great art work on the walls (some of which you might persuade her to part with). The "fridge" is stocked, eating breakfast in the garden is a delight. Close enough to everything worthwhile including public transportation, botanic garden, and Cheeseman Park. Please, just don't book it when we want to go back.
Cynthia was a wonderful, thoughtful and generous host. Her house is located on a beautiful, old neighborhood with interesting architecture, large trees, and somewhat quaint. The house has wonderful woodwork, very homey and Cynthia makes you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this place.
Cynthia has a beautiful Victorian house in the middle of a great neighborhood near a great park. She was a very accommodating host. She even made dinner one night and invited us to partake.
A problem we did encounter was lack of parking spots in the street on two nights, when we arrived back after 5pm.
Cynthia was very kind, sweet and accommodating. Her house in a very central area of Denver - very close to many restaurants and bars.
Cynthia's home is lovely and elegant, and staying with Cynthia was a treat. She was welcoming, helpful, and available, but she was not at all intrusive. The "suite of rooms" is a bedroom with a little reading room off of it, and it has its own private sink. The room is clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Cynthia invited another tenant and me to have dinner with her one night, and it was incredible fun. We had a relaxing, charming evening. The house itself is situation right near Cheesman Park and is within close proximity to coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. I was trying to get a feel for the area as I am hoping to move there, and my couple of days with Cynthia in Capitol Hill were the push I needed to finalize my move! Great area, great stay, great host.
I loved EVEYTHING about my stay at Cynthia's adorable place!
I stayed for a week and I felt like home. She provided everything I needed and much more! She made me Sandwiches and let me use everything in her house. Even the friends I visited in Denver were heartly invited and loved being at the place. It is even so much better than the pictures can tell.
Cynthia was very helpful and my friends and I loved to spend time with her.
I can HIGHLY recommend this place!
I spent one month there and thanks to Cynthia it was just wonderful time. Cynthia even prepared small dinner and welcomed me with a beer, which was exactly what I needed after 20 hours flight. I was there during Easter and she even prepared Easter dinner for me and my friends. I would highly recommend to stay with her (plus you would meet a lot of interesting people at her house).
Cynthia's place is a wonderful spot for visiting Denver. Only a mile from the Capitol, a block from Colfax. Cynthia is a cordial and knowledgeable host. The room, almost a suite, is comfortable. Accommodations are clean. This was our second stay with her, but won't be the last.
Cynthia is a wonderful host! Her place was extremely comfortable and cool. Great neighborhood and location as well. I highly recommend Cynthia and her place.
