Our stay at the Cozy Cabin was beautiful! With a wood fire on, Cozy is the perfect word to describe it, a great spot to relax and warm up after a hike in the rain, it must be wonderful on a snowy day. The cabin is private at the end of the yard, with a nice kitchen and plenty of room. The bathroom was very clean and well provisioned. It's a great location for exploring the area and I would recommend it to friends!
The hosts were very accommodating, helpful and considerate.
Cabin: Clean, well-prepared and equipped.
Surrounded by nature. Walking distance to the river and camping grounds.
Great for running, sketching, and resting.
The cabin is so cozy you can also spend a day just reading and relaxing.
It was very near to Whistler, and so I took a day trip there by the Greyhound bus to ski and buy some groceries.
We had a wonderful time. We loved the wood stove! Thank you to our hosts!
Friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home. Loved the cozy wood heat, well-equipped cabin inspiring forest and mountain surroundings.
The cabin was perfect and the surrounding area is spectacular! My wife and I only had a few days and we needed a quiet and cozy homebase while we did some hiking and skiing.
We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening to start a fire in the wood stove, pick out one of the VHS movies to watch and opening one of the beers we picked up from the local Howe Brewery.
As far as food, there are some good options close by. We had great meals at both the Howe Brewery and The Watershed Grill, although our favorite meal of all was a breakfast at the RedBench Diner just down the road in Brackendale! It was perfect!
The Hosts Alan and Natalia were quite friendly and very accomodating. They gave us complete privacy while letting us know that they were available if we needed anything.
The only problem we encountered staying at the cabin in Squamish was not having enough time!!! We wish we could have stayed longer.
It has been a very pleasant stay in Squamish in this cosy cottage ! Everything was just perfect !
A very nice place !
The cabin was cozy, situated in a beautiful rural area. During the day it was easy to find, but during a foggy, rainy night it was harder to find. The wood stove added a lot of warm ambiance, a huge plus. The only downside was that we had to wash the bed sheets upon arrival because we saw black dog furs all over the sheets, likely from the previous guest doing pet bed laundry, (we saw the same thing in the dryer). Overall the stay was good. Never actually met the hosts, but my interactions with them over the email and phone were pleasant.
This beautiful, tucked-away cabin could not have been more perfect for our ski season. (We made the 40-min drive up to Whistler every day.) And, the surrounding area is storybook beautiful—complete with rushing rivers, eagles, breath-taking hikes and wild salmon. Alan and Natalia were wonderful, easy-going and lovely hosts. We could not recommend this cabin more. Thank you for hosting such a great (extended) stay! We hope to come back! :)
This is a cute rustic cabin,! My husband and I really needed a break from the city and this was the perfect spot! Super cozy, just like the photos. We had a lovely time at the cottage. It is definitely unique, warm and rustic.
We stayed 3 days in the cabin and had a wonderful time. There was no snow anywhere so we spent most of the time inside. Definitely the right place if you want to spent a couple relaxing days away from the busy city.
