Hello, I am Elisabetta, I am 26 years old. I live in Vernazza. I am a student, but my family and I rent rooms from time immemorial...

This was a decent place to stay in Vernazza. The room was small for 2 but it seemed appropriate for the town. It had wifi, a fan, and a fridge, coffee and blow dryer. That was helpful.
Great location & views. Many steps to climb but worth it! The other apartment (not shown in photos) is very small but adequately equipped. Giuseppe (Elisabetta's father) was a delightful host & did a great job.
My friend and I were excited about traveling to 5 terre but didn't realize that we stumbled upon the best view in Vernazza. Elisabettas apt was clean and beautifully presented and the view from the balcony was breathtaking.
We enjoyed lovely sunsets from the balcony with the other residents while sipping on some 5 terre wine. Everyone only had womderful things to say about Elisabettas accommodations and our experience was no different. The free wifi internet may have been the fastest connection during our travels in Europe. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Check in was easy and Elisabetta was very accommodating to our request for an early check in. Place was easy to find, clean and spacious even for a party of three. Definite recommendation if you plane to stay in cinque terre.
Elisabetta was a great host. She promptly communicated with us via text to help us find the apartment. Beautiful place, even more beautiful view!
What a cute place! We loved our stay. We met Elisabetta's father and spoke with her and they are just charming people. The apartment is exactly as pictured (or a little cooler, even)! It is very clean and convenient to everything (though, in such a small town maybe everything is convenient). The only point to know is that this is a hill town. As such all properties not on the main street are up stairs. That was no problem for us, but we were also scoping out options for our parents who will visit Cinque Terre in the future - and we strongly warn older generations that there are stairs - lots of them - in all these adorable towns. There are roughly 80 to get to this apartment. It pays off with views North overlooking the town AND views (from rooftop balcony - not bedroom) south overlooking a beach I had never known about in previous trips. With the right weather you can leave your windows open at night and just listen to the sounds of the waves. SUCH a delight. We strongly recommend this adorable, clean, convenient apartment to everyone on Airbnb. We hope it will be available to us next time we visit!
We liked the small room with the sea view very much. The wifi signal was weak and only worked at the entrance door, so we could hardly get any connection at all - however that did not spoil our experience at all.
I would not recommend this place. There are some problems. First of all, the heating does not work. Even in March, it is kinda freezing during the night. Second of all, the owner is also not polite. When we reported the heating problem, she replied that it never happened. Then she explained it happens when temperature rises... And she warned us not to touch anything in case we broke something else... Honestly, my friend and I were not intended to touch anything in the room... Thirdly, the sheets were not that clean. Maybe it is near the sea. My skin itched a lot during the stay. But it is convenient and low cost. So if you don't mind the problems, it is a good choice though.
this was our greatest italian disappointment. elisabetta is entirely misrepresenting her flats. we rented the flat with the kitchen. upon arrival we were shown a room with a bed. when we pointed out this wasn't the place we reserved, she said, "we have no kitchen. it is only a PICTURE of a kitchen. it doesn't actually work. and this is the room you get." all said with a snarky little smile. she did offer to return our money, but after traveling all day, arriving at 3:30pm, were we then supposed to traipse all over town looking for a flat? our "room" was a closet. one foot of space around the bed, a window with a sea view, that if you were hanging out of, only then could you see the sea. one chair. IF we rented this place knowingly, maybe i wouldn't be so disappointed. but after months of anticipation, saving and planning for our italian holiday, i was, and still am pissed. i would not recommend giving this person your trade. the cinque terre has many beautiful places where you will be treated much more pleasantly.
