Neighborhood was perfect, close to Boulder. We didn't hang at the house almost at all, as we were out most of the time. We didn't have a chance to meet Cynthia at all, but we had everything we needed.
It really is a great place to come back home to after a long day out, and we'd love to stay there again when in the area.
This was a great place to stay and everything was as described. The views were spectacular and the place had a great sense of calm and tranquility to it. Overall it was an excellent place to stay!
Independent ground floor apartment which is part of host's house, with separate entrance. Very comfortable, sitting/dining room, bedroom and large well-equipped bathroom. Door opens onto sheltered patio. Host and her husband were in residence and were very welcoming and helpful but not obtrusive. Highlight was view of mountains with ever-changing light. Large closet with fridge, microwave, electric kettle, crockery and cutlery is ideal for picnic-style meals. The only running water is in the bathroom so washing dishes is slightly inconvenient. I would recommend this as a base for exploring the area (which is spectacular) and would happily go back.
Cynthia's property is simply spectacular. It is nested along Colorado's rock formations in a quiet and beautiful plain. Only about 10 minutes away from Boulder's city center, this is the perfect oasis for people looking to enjoy Colorado's natural tranquility and enjoy all that Boulder has to offer. As a host, Cynthia is kind and courteous. I have nothing bad to say about her. She and her place deserve all the praise they have received thus far.
Cynthia's place was perfect. I felt like i was on my own little nature preserve less than 20 minutes from boulder. it was incredibly relaxing and beautiful, and the place looks exactly as it's described. Cynthia was lovely, wonderful to talk with, was available as needed but gave me a lot of privacy. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in town.
The reviews of this place are true - it is exceptionally beautiful, clean, comfortable, private, and affordable. I took a cab out here from Boulder and spent the night reading on the hammock, looking at the stars, in the morning I had the most lovely coffee with the view. This room is among the best of what airbnb has to offer, it's so unique you can't find anything like it from a hotel. Mark this down in case you ever wind up in CO.
Hi Jamie, Thank you for the lovely review. Know that you have a home here when you are back this way and have more time. All the best to you in your exciting work. Warmly, Cynthia
We had a great experience staying at Cynthia's and her husbands place. The accommodations are as described and the mountain view is absolutely breath taking. The location was perfect for us as we spent some time in Denver, Fort Collins, Estes Park and Cheyenne WY.
They respected our privacy and we were allowed to come and go as we pleased. I would highly recommend the Rural Boulder County Horse Country home to anyone traveling in the area. You won't regret it!!
Cynthia was very nice and accommodating to our check in schedule, showing us around and letting us know about the points of interest and good eats in area.
Their place is in a nice location just outside of Boulder and not too far from Lyons.
We just loved the peaceful area, the view of the mountains, the horses, donkeys, the cute rabbits and ranch like setting. The room was clean and nicely decorated and with a mini - fridge for our food and cold drinks. It has a nice outside deck to relax on we didn't want to move from looking at the view while laying and relaxing in the hammock. The only drawback is, we wish we had more time to stay and enjoy such a wonderful getaway. We would love to come back and stay a few days longer.
Hi Anne, Thank you for the lovely review. Know that you have a home here when you are back this way again; and yes, we can fit some yoga in next time. Warmly,
Our second stay in Cynthia's beautiful home. It couldn't be nicer. A private, tranquil retreat with a gorgeous view of the front range just minutes from Boulder - highly, highly recommended!
This place was more beautiful than we imagined it would be. Felt far out but close enough to boulder and lyons. Its simple but just right for two; comfy bed, beautiful porch, plenty of room in the fridge, microwave for leftovers and kettle for coffee or tea. Lots of cute little bunnies hopping around and horses in view of the porch. Greenbriar Inn down the street has the most amazing brunch - lox and bubbles for days. And it was a beautiful drive to rocky mountain national park from here. Would highly recommend staying here if you want to be near boulder but stay in the beautiful countryside. You may never want to leave.
Richard and his son were here for one night only and were very polite and respectful. They are welcome back any time.
Always a pleasure to host fellow hosts!
