What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay! Cynthia was a wonderful hostess and the rooms/bathroom were big & clean. I had everything I needed. Would love to stay there again sometime soon!
This room was a lovely part of my stay in Colorado. Very charming, quiet, very clean and quite private.
Will definitely come back.
We had a wonderful stay at the ranch! The view was great, the suite was cozy & updated & nice (little kitchenette, big windows with views from the table). The hosts were available if you needed anything but otherwise you never heard from them at the downstairs apartment, which made for nice privacy and relaxation. It was a quick drive into Boulder when we wanted city, but nice to come back to peace & quiet. Great place, we would definitely stay here again!
Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay! It was perfect for our week-long visit to the Boulder area. The location is great, and the mini-fridge and kitchen/dining area were very convenient. Cynthia and her family are warm and welcoming. We highly recommend staying with them!
Cynthias place was amazing with the most incredible view from your bedroom window you could ever imagine. I was so lucky to experience the northern lights something I have always dreamed about I loved boulder and met some beautiful people, I experienced coyotes which was so new to me coming from Australia.
I would definitely recommend to stay here for peace and tranquillity
The bob tail bunnies keep you amused loved it
Dear Friends, I'd like to share with you my feelings from my stay in Rural Boulder County Horse Country. I was staying in this wonderful place from 29/12/2013 until 08/01/2014 and each day was like a small miracle for me. It was really nice, peaceful and serenity stay in my life. I can compare with my visit of Maldives. I fell like at home and what is the most important for me it was complete fusion with nature. I was so tired from boring hotel rooms with annoyed staff that I was so happy to be in a quite space and feel independence from everything I have for my own convenience not only my personal bedroom with fantastic king-size bed but also my personal kitchen , living room and my personal bathroom with big bathtub. Special thanks to Cynthia for candles. I love them very much. So, I was independent and separated from whole world. At the same time I can enjoy wonderful nature including animals such as rabbits, horses, donkeys, dogs and wild dogs, etc. Every morning I was waked up by sunshine in my room and could stay in bed enjoying terrific sunrise panorama. At the evening I was sitting on the doorstep in big chair enjoying of the sunset and thinking about the eternity. Special thanks to Cynthia for morning yoga lessons and fantastic inspiration for whole day! Moreover, special thanks for free Wi-Fi! It was real paradise for such Internet addicted person as I am :-) I'll never forget my stay in Rural Boulder County Horse Country! Hope to come back to this fabulous corner once upon a time!
This place is lovely. I needed a home away from home for a couple of nights and found it. Really nicely appointed and full of grace. Next time I need to stay in the Boulder area, I now where I'm going. Thank you Cynthia and Richard, a treat.
Our stay in this lovely home was everything we expected! We woke to a beautiful view each morning, enjoyed the peace and quiet with a warm cup of tea or coffee, and then headed out to enjoy the day. The privacy and peaceful setting were just what we were looking for. We would definitely come back!
Cynthia's home is beautiful! It feels like you are out in the country but you're just a short drive to anything you need and all the great eats in Boulder! We were able to drive out to Estes Park, Boulder Mountain Park and Lyons in 30 minutes or less! Cynthia was a gracious host and the apartment had everything we needed for our week long stay. There is not a full kitchen, however, we had what was necessary to make coffee and breakfast in the morning and keep our leftovers good for the next day (perfect for us since we planned to enjoy the wonderful restaurants in the area and had no intentions of cooking : ). We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Waking up to the mountains each morning was wonderful! Thanks to Cynthia and her family for sharing their beautiful home with us. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in beautiful Colorado!
Cynthia and her family have a beautiful house in the foothills of the mountains outside of Longmont. We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting family in the area. We had a private entrance, a small bedroom area with a comfortable queen bed, a bath with shower and tub, and a lovely sitting area/breakfast nook with a gorgeous view of the foothills. The windows in this home are very large, creating a stunning backdrop for our breakfasts and quiet times in the house.
We enjoyed seeing magpies flitting around in the yard area, as well as rabbits very close to our door, poking in the grass. Coyotes could be seen retreating toward the mountains in the morning, and prairie dogs occasionally popped up from the ground. The horses and mules are visible from a nearby house, and the Weir family's dogs can be heard now and then in the background. It was never an issue; we love animals anyway, so hearing dogs now and then is reassuring in a way. :-D
Cynthia was the consummate host; never obtrusive but available if you need her. We're looking forward to returning for a longer period next time.
