I live in California near San Francisco. I am an owner of a local sea kayaking and hiking adventure business- (website hidden) . As the Co Creator & Lead Guide I have over 20 years of kayaking and hiking experience and have led commercial trips for a variety of other professional Bay Area sea kayaking and hiking outfitters.
As a certified guide, I have led well over 800-kayaking trips, over 100-hiking trips and have accumulated over a 1600 hours of kayak guide-time and over 500-hours of hiking guide-time.
In addition to my professional guide work, I volunteer my time guiding kayaking trips with special needs populations at Environmental Travel Companions (ETC). (website hidden)
(Christoper has also received numerous accolades for my humor, his professional demeanor, and his ability to work with diverse groups with varying level of kayaking knowledge and athletic backgrounds. He has successfully taught kayaking to individuals with hearing, visual and developmental disabilities. His core belief is that "the only thing preventing one from becoming a proficient kayaker or hiker is attitude"!
His favorite local paddle destinations range from scenic and serene paddling on Sausalito's Richardson Bay and Tomales Bay to trips as challenging and exciting as paddling under the Golden Gate Bridge and exploring the many sea caves and “rock gardens” in Northern California's Mendocino Coast.
Christopher is a fourth-generation San Franciscan native who has an intimate knowledge of the Bay Area's best outdoor and indoor treasures. He takes great pleasure in sharing his “favorites” list and loves to inspire awareness that another wonderful discovery and new adventure can be had on any given day!
Christopher is Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified.)
