Since listing my space with AirBnB, I've welcomed some outstanding, interesting and inspiring individuals. It's a fascinating adventure.
I have a great life in Albuquerque - great friends & interesting work. Originally from Michigan, I've lived in this house for over 10 years. I love to travel, but it's been too long since I took a vacation(oh, really? you too?). I'm an architect in independent practice and I teach architecture at UNM occasionally. Maybe I'll meet some other designers and artists? I love amazing food, good wine and good coffee. As a guest, and I hope as a host, I am considerate, organized and warm, with a sense of humor. I'd love to share stories over a drink with you.
As an architect, I'm regularly experimenting with my space, which leaves some edges frayed from time to time. Some would say it has a few quirks, but the comforts are very reassuring. I'm always complemented on the feeling inside the place. (I complement myself sometimes, if I'm honest.) I have a couple of bikes available if you want to move about that way. Just let me know in advance so I can make sure the tires are aired up. There's no cable, but I have a troublingly large television with an AppleTV (Netflix, YouTube, etc...)
When I'm traveling I focus on art, architecture, parks, clubs, pubs, and try to get lost. I walk and bike for miles to experience the authenticity of different places and people in the world. I've done a little of that in South and Central America, China, Taiwan, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Germany.
