At heart, Im a scientist, always observing life, nature, people, and everything around me with an endless sense of child-like fascination and curiosity. Since I stopped working in traditional research labs in academia and biotech drug development, I've worked as a sales rep, a marketer, and a commercial analytics director at the company that started biotech, Genentech, where we commercialized many amazing first-in-class drugs. Now I'm serving my community by helping young people in tough situations get access to healthcare in NYC at a non-profit org that I founded.
When I'm not working, if I'm indoors, I'm probably tending to my reef aquarium, which has over 100 species of fish, coral, anenomies, crustaceans, and bivalves, and other invertebrates. If I'm outside, and it's not winter, then there's a good chance I'm out on the streets of manhattan going too fast on the single speed fixed gear bicycle that I built myself, part-by-part.
