The apartment was cute and the location was good, it was near Jean Talon market which was a wonderful treat. There was enough room to fit 5 of us and Tricia was a great host. The only thing was street parking wasn't readily available but it didn't post much of a problem.
There was also no air conditioning but the weather was cool enough that it was not needed.
The main reasons we chose this apartment was its proximity to my nephew's house and that it was large enough to share with other family members for our reunion, but we found we loved the location for its own sake. It is on a quiet street, but an easy walk to the wonderful Jean Talon Market and metro station, just a block away from a good indoor market for packaged foods and more cafes and restaurants than you could sample in a month.
The apartment was comfortable and well-stocked with books and music.
We stayed at Tricia's flat for 4 nights this past long weekend. Although she wasn't there when we arrived she left us a lovely note with info about her place. My family loved the eclectic decor and homey feel of her apartment. It was very conveniently located close to a park and splash pad for my two year old to enjoy! We were a 10 minute walk from Jean Talon Market and 15 minutes from the Metro. Perfect location for someone not really familiar with the city. We will definitely stay at Tricia's place again when we come back to Montreal.
This was the first time we used Airbnb and we were hesitant at the beginning. Tricia was a great host. She was extremely courteous and met us on time. Her house was spacious for four of us to have privacy and within walking distance to almost everything we needed. The house was clean. She was extremely helpful in providing us with additional information about Montreal. We have no hesitation to recommend her to others who wish to travel to Montreal.
Notre séjour en vos espaces a été un très bon choix... être ds le quartier italien a été un bon moment ... marché tous les matins,
déjeuner sur petite terrasse, parfait et mes 3 enfants se sentaient comme à la maison ! Just perfect, merci Tricia !
L'appartement convient bien à une famille. On n'y manque de rien. Le fait qu'il soit situé à distance de marche du super Marché Jean-Talon rend l'expérience plus qu'agréable!
Very lovely apartment. Easy to hold 5 people. Very comfortable and convenient. 5 minutes' walk to Jean-Talon Market, which is a wonderful place for breakfast and morning fresh tour. 8 minutes' to the metro station, from which you can get to all those beautiful and energetic places of Montreal.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Montreal. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. It was our home away from home where we spent the week in Montreal. The girls loved the bunk beds and there were many things to keep them occupied as well. Loved having all the books on the shelves, the patio out back to dine, and convenient location not to far from parks, market, and metro. Waiting for the next trip back to Montreal!
My family and I met for an impromptu reunion and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The apartment was very clean cozy and in the heart of Little Italy. Every morning we were able to walk to the Jean Talon Market, get fresh fruit, pastries, and produce to enjoy on the back patio.
Tricia was very nice, welcoming us and telling us about all the interesting spots in the neighborhood and Montreal.
We didn't have any rainy days but had we, Tricia's book collection would have been the perfect companion. My sister was very impressed to find the likes of Deleuze and Guattari gracing the the shelves of one of the bedrooms.
We spent a wonderful big weekend in Tricia's apartment. It was very clean and lovely furnished and decorated. The neighborhood is very nice, especially with the market Jean Talon which si very close.
Tricia has been very helpful with every question we could have had.
I would love to go there another time.
