First of all, Rachel is AMAZING! She's one of the nicest, most realest people you will ever come across. She's so hospitable, and so kind. Very thoughtful too, leaving little things that made our stay so nice: shampoos, wine, etc.
Their home is carefully and meticulously decorated to perfection. I mean, this loft will blow you away in terms of design and decor. Everything inside is beautiful and functional. I am amazed at how beautiful their home is.
The bed is the softest, comfiest bed in San Diego! I'm convinced. Thank you so much Rachel for being so awesome!
We had such a great time in Rachel's stylish loft apartment in little Italy! Rachel was so kind and helpful and welcomed us with tons of helpful tips about the area! We loved the farmers market, the lovely restaurants and cafe a few min walk away!!
The loft apartment is so beautifully designed, it made us feel at home right away.
I can highly recommend Rachel and her loft to anyone! This has definitely been our best airbnb experience - thank you Rachel!
We REALLY enjoyed our stay in Rachel's loft. We loved the artistic décor, it was very comfortable and in a fabulous location close to wonderful restaurants and the ocean. Rachel was close-by, helpful and left flowers and food in the refrigerator for us. Highly recommended.
Great place (email hidden) location.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was beautiful, spotless and had everything we needed. Rachel even provided breakfast stuff, which was a huge help with our early rising toddler. My son loved the gravel pit (with trucks!) but it was also really nice (and inspiring!) to see people with a toddler actually living with beautiful things. This would obviously be a really great place to stay without kids as well, the gravel pit can just as easily be a zen garden, and you could sit in the relaxing courtyard with a glass of wine and never know kids had been around. The neighborhood is central and lively. It has a great farmer's market on Saturdays. It was an easy walk with a stroller up to Balboa Park and down to the waterfront and ferry landing. Little Italy is fairly close to the landing path of flights headed to the airport, but that seems true of much of San Diego, since the airport is so close to downtown. It didn't bother us, especially since we travel with a white noise machine, and for a transportation obsessed toddler, all of the airplanes, sailboats, navy boats, ferries, trains, trolleys, construction work etc. were a dream come true. We would love to stay here again someday!
Rachel is a perfect host and made this airbnb experience a truly superior one. The communication was excellent and she took the time to show us around when we arrived. She is a caring host who made sure everything was perfect for us.
Rachel's home is a delightful space filled with personality in an equally stunning building. Creative chic meets laid back modern urban loft. Everything from the quality of space, the linens, dishes, decor is simply amazing. We slept like babies in the very comfortable bed/bedroom and nothing can beat the sound of the rain with open windows. The indoor/outdoor bedroom setup worked without a stitch even with pouring rain thanks to a large enough concrete ledge (brilliant!)when needed in the middle of the night… Southern California's weather rocks even under the rain! Also: Location! Location! Location! Little Italy is the perfect playground by day and night. Rachel, you and your place are airbnb gems!
Beautiful home and nice owner. Will be staying there again.
Rachel was a super friendly and helpful host. Her home was beautiful. Both comfortable and clean. Loved the decor. Great location as well.
Rachel and her family have the perfect setup in Little Italy. Close to shops, bars, restaurants - we barely had to drive while in town for the weekend. Setup is ideal for a couple or small group. It was a bit chilly this weekend, but the comfy bed is equipped with a heated mattress pad. Made it tough to get up in the morning :)
Great host, very friendly, available if you need anything. Would recommend to friends or stay here again when in SD.
Rachel is the most welcoming hostess I've ever known. Her home is absolutely gorgeous. If you're looking for a seriously stylish place to stay during your next visit to San Diego, this is it. And talk about location. The loft is right in the heart of Little Italy, with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. Walk to downtown or hop on public transportation or the nearby 5 freeway to get anywhere else you need to go. Plus Rachel will steer you to all the best stuff SD has to offer.
rachel is an amazing hostess. she covers every aspect of your stay and then some. the loft is a gorgeous space filled with all sorts of fabulous art, books and other interesting goodies. she has lived in san diego for quite a long time and can be very helpful navigating the city and has a complete knowledge of non touristy and very exciting things to do and try out. rachel is always there to help with our stay in san diego.
